I'm reluctant to write this review because I don't want anyone else to know about how cool Muso Style is. If you're Japanese, you'll love this place because it tries to replicate the smaller bars in Japan with it's food selection, cocktails, service, and ambience. It's great for small groups of up to 4 or dates, where you want as few people around you as possible, but also right next to you. Musō Style Japanese Sakè Bar is in the same space as the former Canzō which was rather novel in serving unusual canned foods from around the world along with Japanese Sakè (sah keh), Shōchū, Beer. The last time we were at this location, it was a wine and sake bar known as Canzo. We liked that place and it's quirky menu. It's now under new ownership and the place is now rebranded as Muso Style. The sign outside indicates it's a soft opening. The place was full on the Friday we visited. Many of the patrons appear to be regulars from the Canzo days. There are a few tables. The bar area was full as the regulars were all watching the Dodger game. It was quite a lively night....read full review
