Parking is really easy even on weekends. The restaurant is spacious and the staff is friendly. The menu has lots of different food options. This place is great to hang out with friends and family to catch up or meet up. Our party had a baby, they have high chairs and staff were very accommodating, we did not feel like a nuisance while dining here. When the baby was rowdy and there was a lobby area just a short walk away to calm the baby down with various Japanese decor.

Highly recommend dining here. Flavorful, authentic, well-prepared dishes. Service can be a bit slow when they're slammed with customers, but overall, a must-try. We will definitely be back!

Holy Cow! This place is fantastic. Quick service. The interior is roomy, clean, and beautiful. The hot tea was on our table in seconds and the original umami made udon is the best noodles I’ve had in the South Bay. The spicy crispy tofu is the right amount of spice and the karaage is tasty. Must try spot!

I got the lunch combo, udon + kanpachi bowl. The udon was good, but nothing incredible. I really enjoyed the kanpachi bowl, though. The sashimi was flavorful and fresh and rice was perfectly made. I also sampled the kuzukake with soba -- it was okay. The broth was tasty, but the soba seemed overcooked and a bit too soft.

Great experience with a large group of 20 in the private room. We ordered cream mentaiko nabe hot pot with udon set - generous portion of mentaiko and delicious homemade udon - good size for 3 small people or two large people :) they were kind enough to give us two matcha cake for the birthday boys. I will be back soon and hopefully will get to try to sit in their tatami room!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian hot pot

I miss having a wide selection of udon but I enjoy the new items they have brought in. Food is solid. Service is great.

Cozy little authentic spot. The takoyaki was so lovely, soft and flavorful. The udon and tempura I had were also fantastic. Ambience is relaxed and welcoming, food is delicious and portions were huge, I had udon for breakfast the next day!Our servers were so kind, and I loved the pacing of the food. Not everything was brought at once, appetizers came out first, and we never felt rushed.

Amazing hand made udon and soba. Most popular dish was most definitely the nabeyaki udon.I really wanted to get ten Saru udon.Tempura was also outstanding.Very light and tender yet crispy. My new go to place for udon.

Cuzzo wanted to take me out for lunch for a birthday treat (because he just coo' like that!) I thought we'd both try something new, something close to home, some place off one of my bookmarks. (I really love having this feature on Yelp, it's come in so SO handy plenty of times! ) I stopped scrolling soon as this place popped up, and after checking out their menu on the website, I made reservations immediately. We came through at opening hour for a Sunday lunch and already a couple of tables occupied. With reservations, we were seated immediately. (Also noticed a few tables with RESERVED signs on 'em, so that's saying a lot.) Cuzzo and I pretty much knew what we were gonna get before we got here, so while our server took our drink orders, we told her we were pretty much ready. GRILLED MACKEREL BENTO BOX: My choice of eats. This is a generous plate, lots of goodies in here! I was served the salad and steamed egg first. Salad was served with Japanese dressing. Refreshing and delicious. Steamed egg - I've had my share and different versions of this, but the one here, by far, is top 3. Perfect temp, perfect texture, perfect seasoning, and the shrimp and mushroom were cherries on top. Whoa! The rest of the food came through. Came with warm udon noodle soup - delish. Good chew on the noodles, broth was hearty. Cali rolls - also one of the better ones I've had recently. Great as is, no adds needed. Tempura (couple of shrimps, squash, eggplant, shishito pepper and crispy shrimp head) was soooo good! Sauce elevated the flavor of each bite! Grilled mackerel was the very center of it all. Seasoned simply with salt and pepper, the natural flavor of the fish really came out. Side of fruit were great palate cleansers. I loved this bento box!!!!MINI CURRY RICE: I was curious about how the curry tasted (it's homemade, so I had to try it!) Very impressive! Rich with flavor but not overwhelming. 3 KINDS OF SASHIMI: Cuzzo ordered this to share - yellowtail, salmon and tuna. All were fresh and served in generous slices. Worth the price! FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 4. Friendly staff, service with a smile. VALUE: 4.5. Really not bad for what we got!!! PARKING: Private lot shared with others. Street parking also available, but prolly won't need it.OVERALL: 4.5.Cuzzo opted for the chicken cutlet curry rice and his plate was empty by the time we were done. I also gotta comment on their decor at entry: loved the cherry blossom theme! Overall inside decor also nice. Most (if not all) of the tables were occupied by the time we walked out. We really enjoyed our visit. We hadn't drive out of the lot yet and I've already decided what to have next time I come through again. Needless to say, there will be future visits!
