There is a pizza and salad and dessert for everyone. Our artisan pizza was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, and cheesy goodness, all complemented by a distinctive smoky barbecue flavor. The smokey after taste is their signature touch. I love it. The beautiful artisan crust reminded me of Italy, perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven that must have a little magic in it, because every bite was delicious.

The first bite tingles and tantalizes the taste buds, then travels downstairs and hits a high note in my belly. Follow that with a sip of Besson wine and, OMG, pure heaven and the best kind of food coma!

We paired our beautiful pie with Besson Wines, making it the perfect date night with my gal.

“Leider war unser Besuch alles andere als angenehm. Wir hatten einen Platz im Schatten reserviert. Kamen an und bekamen erst mal eine Platz direkt in der Sonne zugeteilt. Wir dachten uns, naja, hilft ja nichts. Dann ging das Warten los. Wir saßen 25 Minuten in der prallen Sonne, ohne auch nur beachtet zu werden. Nach uns kommende Gäste wieder bedient, wir hatten weder Schatten noch Getränke. Irgendwann wurde ein Schattenplatz frei. Den schnappten wir uns dann. Und nach insgesamt 35 Minuten konnten wir auch endlich unsere Getränke bestellen (kurzzeitig waren wir schon am Überlegen lieber zum goldenen M zu fahren) Wir bestellten als zeitgleich Getränke und essen. Essen kam dann auch. Nur leider hatten wir kein Bedteck. Also wieder warten. Nach dem wir leicht angsäuert waren, genossen wir aber das leckere Essen. Die restlichen Pizza gaben wir der Bedienung zum einpacken. Wir bezahlten und warteten wieder - auf die eingepackte Pizza. Irgendwann ging mein Mann nach oben zur Theke, wo die Bedienung stand und Besteck abtrocknen. Auf unsere Frage wo denn die Pizza sei, "oh die hab ich ganz vergessen, da drüben steht sie" Naja ist halt alles andre als gut gelaufen an diesem Tag. Aber das Essen war wirklich lecker.”

We found the furniture to be uncomfortable (metal high chairs with no back, and an unusually tall table with regular wooden chairs around it- it was awkward to sit at). It felt pretty bare, as far as decor and ambiance go.

You can walk down the street 1 block to Promised Land Brewery from here. That one has equally good beers and more ambiance (& comfortable chairs), but is much smaller.”

“The items we ordered were good. Mexican pizzas, 7 layer burritos, crunchwrap, all made vegetarian. Good amount of fillings were in each. I come from NJ taco bells where you never want to eat there again. This location actually didn't skimp on anything and the results were a tasty meal that felt worth our money. The staff are friendly and helpful and were even kind enough to check what level of heat in the spices we preferred in our curry. We tried both the mango and malai Crown Kulfi ice creams today which were full of flavor and creamy. There’s lots of dishes to choose from including desserts. Highly recommend.”

“I may not know Mexican cuisine, but I know when food is good. And damn, the food is good here. Everything tasted like some old grandma invited you over for a fiesta and she personally cooked everything herself. We ordered the beef and veggie soup for our children. I couldn't stop stealing it for myself! It reminded us of this one Cantonese soup with pork bone, carrots, and radish. This one used beef rib, kinda like galbi tang. The meat was so moist. Then came the tacos, enchilada, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was huge and bursting with flavor, although slightly overseasoned (read: salty) for our preference. Even the rice was noteworthy. You can see the leftover tomato skin -- it's not just tomato paste like some restaurant use to cut corners. We even enjoued their Pico de Gallo and salsas. They reshly prepare their corn tortillas. I could eat those every day! The best part of the meal was the gal working as hostess, waitress, and server. She made us feel so welcome, patiently answered all of our questions, catered to our every need (we're a family with young kids), and checked on us several times. She even get us an extra order of rice which our kids devoured -- for free!”

As far as the food goes-
I got the oxtail/ rare beef pho it was quite flavorful but the oxtail was mostly fat so I think ill stick to either rare beef or shrimp pho next time. The chicken wings were ok but went better with the chili oil at the table.”
