Being that I am of Cuban descent there is this never ending journey to find the best Cuban food in California. Have tried many with similar disappointing results. My family is Cuban and lives in Puerto Rico. I took them here and they were delighted. This is the best Cuban spot in So Cal hands down. It’s as close to Miami as you will ever get. The French fries are made exactly like my Cuban grandmother made them. No one has ever made them that way again except for you guys. Porto’s sorry. We have a winner. La Cubana never disappoints. We were craving some good home cooked Cuban food this past weekend so decided to drive to Glendale and grab ourselves a few plates. We order the ropa vieja and the lechón with a side of fried plantains and frijol negro. It was perfect!
