They overcharged me for a chicken bowl. They argued with me when I brought it to their attention. Terrible service. Beyond terrible food it was not fresh. Awful experience. There’s other Hawaiian bbq in the area. Avoid this place.

The Glendale location does not deserve any stars! Do not even entertain the idea of going here, the employees are rude as hell and are scam artists. They close the location early all the time without any respect to people placing orders online. The employees do not know the difference between a website or a phone app. They accepted my online order (and money) via the website and then never made it, and closed the location down early. I then called requesting my money back, and the guy who answered the phone acted like he is a complete idiot (probably is) and doesn't know anything. They say to call them to order, yet they also do not answer the phone and turn it off well before closing of business.Shut this place down! The food isn't even that great.

Great way to get your fix for a Hawaiian-style lunch plate. From teriyaki covered in a sticky sweat sauce to a Korean-style rib to katsu, L&L is a welcomed choice to have. The best item will always be the macaroni salad.Portions have dwindled a bit after the pandemic, and still a guilty pleasure.

Food was great! Got the Lau Lau plate that comes with 2 Lau Lau. I think you can get frozen ones for $7.99 each. Pork, pork fat, butter fish, and taro leaves.Father and son that own the place are cute. They're cool. Plus, if you want to drink a beer while you wait for your food. They got beer too!

The owner is very rude and does not know how to deal with customers at all. If you want to go to a place where you will waste 1 hour and end up eating a bad meal, definitely go here.

Ordered a catering request - the food was delicious (just as expected). My catering order was accepted but I never received the follow-up call as noted. Several days later I had to call to confirm and discuss the order.Unfortunately, no delivery service is available for catering orders. Not living in LA added time to coordinating an event with picking up the food.

Stopped by while running errands - very efficient! Maybe I was talking to someone different than the person other people are mentioning they had a rough time with, but the man who took my order was very nice. Appreciate the mini version of their combo plates if you wanna try a couple different things. REALLY liked the kalua pork with cabbage - got it to go and added some bbq sauce when I got home - good stuff Also a big fan of spam musubi so I love all the options you get, just bummed I missed their spam musubi day on the 8th. Noticed they have a line of beer/ale on tap, wanna eat in and try next time.

Wish I remembered why I didn't come to this location because of the reviews!!!! They are 100% true!!!! Small portions and I've never had mahi-mahi in a "fish stick" form YUCK!!!! Dry, tasteless, wasn't crispy at all. Shrimp tasted like it came right from the frozen section in the grocery store. Sad excuse for Hawaiian food!!! The worst!

Amazing Hawaiian BBQ, usually just one guy working there and I really respect the staff for simultaneously working the counter and going back to cook everything themselves. I recommend the BBQ combo plate, the macaroni salad, the Spam (&egg) musubis, and the Hawaiian Sun beverages (guava and lilikoi passion fruit are my favorites)
