Didn't expect to be good and fresh. Always wanted to know if this is another good Korean restaurant like Buela and Gamtubop in Glendale while waiting for this store to be opened again.Overall, the food was fresh and tasted good. I ordered banban hot dog and Korean fermented soybean stew. Will reorder to try other menus! It's been closed for a while so every time I stopped by in person, wasn't open to the public. Hope this management keeps the business hours this time!

I was craving tteokbokki and seen this place on yelp so I decided to give it a try and I'm happy I did. So you do have to pay for parking but if you are there for less than 30 minutes it's free. Anything over 30 min will be a $1 every 30 which isn't bad. When you walk in the register is on your left with all the menu items and options they have. They also have a dine in option as well which I would like to try they were playing music the place was big and clean you can see everything so the setting was pretty cool nice ambiance more likely packed @ night. I ordered my food it was ready in about 15 mins and I absolutely loved it my fav part was the sausage and the broth was nice and thick and was kinda spicy but nothing I can't handle will be retuning again to try the corn dogs.

Quite a surprise! This restaurant, as of Sat 09/30/2023, was undergoing a soft opening. The name on my receipt says Tonka Hero Hot Pot yet the restaurant no longer has hot pot. Instead, there is a limited menu of delicious cupbap. The adjoining mochi donut shop is also part of this same restaurant so I had two menus enjoy.I have to offer applause for our server. She handled everything almost single handedly and made sure our needs were met.The Bulgogi, with fried egg, cupbap was delicious. Filling, tasty, lean, and with just the right amount of seasoning. The bowl included white rice, corn salad, sausage, stir-fried kimchi, bean spouts, and green onion. The corn salad was a treat. It was more of a creamy substance almost like potato salad but with a more buttery flavor. The Tofu (Vegan) cupbap was great and the tofu had a crisp texture that complimented the corn salad, lettuce, and kimchi. I was pleased that the kimchi had just the right amount of garlic. Now, the mochi donuts were perfection and just freshly baked. Since this is a soft opening, there were not many flavors available. Yet, the blueberry and cookies & creme were so tasty and looked quite pretty in their box. One flavor, had a powdered creme cheese like flavor and was my personal favorite.I look forward to when this restaurant expands to a full opening. Enjoy your visit!

We came on a Saturday afternoon and the place was closed! There was a note that said they were on a break for 10 minutes. We waited for 40 minutes and they still did not open. We saw the worker filling little containers of sauces through the 30 minutes we were there.. The worker knew we were outside waiting because we knocked on the door and we made eye contact. I understand if they were understaffed and wanted to catch up on work they had to do, but within the 40 minutes we were there, there was only 3 people that showed. So I would say it was a slow day. The other two people were waiting as well for 25 minutes and left. If you are closed, have the note say that !!! Not on a freaking break ! wasted our time! Lost 4 customers so they can fill up little containers of sauces, hope it was worth it !! **Update** before leaving, we knocked on the door one more time and the worker hid. We then kept knocking so she can atleast tell us why it is taking so long.. She just kept shaking her head to the side like she was saying no.

Food is pretty good.Hours are very inconsistent, though. Everytime I plan to go, they're closed and/or don't answer the phone so I can at least know what the hours for the day are gonna be.Parking: You can park in the big structure next door. Free 30 minutes or something. So perfect for picking up and order.

Not impressed with the corn dogs. Had one at Disneyland and it was way better. The cheese monster had almost not cheddar since you can tell they skimp on that probably cause it is more expensive than mozzarella. Not what I was expecting.

Mosquitoes and flies everywhere, you can feel them on your legs when you dine in. The hot pot ingredients aren't fresh (beef was musty and the fish cake was slimy) and neither are the corn dog ingredients (mushy insides and the fry oil is old). Hot pot sauces also are really random and disjointed: ponzu, random gochujang sauce, and a Thai sweet chili sauce. I also got the Korean pear juice and the first sip was sour, so I had to take it back. They charge you 40 cents for extra sauce, including mustard or ketchup. We had 2 bites and left. We also had to insist on a refund to get it. Super unhappy with our experience but our server was very kind and empathetic.

BEST HOT POT place in Glendale!I had their 3rd Infantry Division. The soup, hams, veggies, and noodles are perfectly harmonized. 5 out of 5 with no doubt and I will be damn coming back again!!
