“Every year after the Glendora All Class Reunion Picnic in October, members of the graduating class of 1969 aim to meet up for a more intimate visit at Club House 66. We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️”

It's not a fancy sit down, but it's a comfy homey feeling with chairs and tables outside. The food is authentic in every way. The owner is one of the most kind, gracious hosts you will find. Well it's an easy task for him, as the food is the best mediterranean food you will find without traveling to the middle east...and even then....I don't think you could find food as flavorful. “One of my go to coffee shops in the area. I am leaving a new review after coming here for 3 years! My go to order is their matcha latte, hojicha latte, and a good old iced vanilla latte. You can see the roaster at the back as they roast their own beans. Yes they aren’t a matcha store, but they serve good quality matcha. Lastly I usually order a Cinnamon sugar knot to seal the deal. It’s a great way to start my morning and on top of that the baristas are all super nice. Really lovely spot!”

“PASTRAMI BAHN MI! Before Gold Bahn, I've never had real pastrami until this place. You have to get it Gold standard. The combination of fresh veggies and cilantro along with pickled carrots, pickled onions, chicken liver pate, garlic aoli and mustard is a flavor combination that marries beautifully with the housemade smoky pastrami in a symphony of savory, sweet, tart, fresh and crispy bites. Each one leaving you eager for the next bite. The pastrami just melts in your mouth with each chew. I never thought I'd like pastrami until I've had it here. My only complaint is i wished they has used a better cut of pastrami for my sandwich. I've only had the sliced deli pastrami in hot and cold sandwiches and I've always thought they were over salty and briny. THIS! OMG! This was heaven in a sandwich. The ingenious idea to put pastrami I'm a Bahn Mi, ridiculously delicious. We also had the charming Bahn mi which was very different than other places I've had but also a winner as well. I should have gotten that one Gold Standard as well. Pork was very tender and melt in your mouth as well. The Crispy Pork Belly Bahn mi I had to say I did not enjoy at all. The skin was definitely crispy, however the meat was very, very dry. Not sure if the bread used for that sandwich was older bread but it felt like chewing a rubber tire. Just stay away from the crispy pork belly. Sounds good but is terrible. Could have just been a bad batch that day. But gotta give the win to Pastrami. Very well made and is incredible.”

I started driving off and as soon as I took my first bite I regretted immediately why I did not order that.Everything we ordered were so flavorful and delicious. They also have the best Hummus. “I needed a catering job for the entire LA County/USC ER Room medical staff and all support personnel. 150 complete box lunches and I needed them delivered to East Los Angeles by 11.30 am. This amazing staff got up at 3 am to make sure the order was there and on time. Rave reviews were emailed to me about the quality and care of the delicious care packages given to each of those important caregivers at the hospital. First rate care and preparation. They earned my business and my respect. And support our local businesses. Just like hospitals we need diners and bakeries too! Job well done Crust and Crumble! Highly recommend.”

Honey had Freddy's chili cheese dog. The chili cheese dog didn't taste or look fresh.

I had the chicken salad, tater tots and a mango tea.

The chicken was kinda dry. I like chicken salads but the chicken was a little too dry.

Overall, the service was great. The place was very clean. Staff was constantly cleaning and wiping down everything, i.e., tables, soda area, the cashier area. The menu is large and readable beside the small one on the cashier area.

One young lady was very helpful. I didn't get her name but she is graduating from Cal State L A. She was polite, courteous, helpful and very thoughtful. I am coming back to try the custards, multi drinks with the custards. When I come back, probably try the steak burger which everyone seems to enjoy.”

Best things to add or try are the guacamole, rice and the beans. Any one of these 3 items will make your plate. It's so good. I can live off their bean and cheese burritos which I probably do. Nice drink selection. From fountain drinks, bottles or cans. No alcohol tho. That's a good thing. The staff is always friendly and courteous and kind. They're always very interactive with some of their regulars. People like coming here The speed and quickness of their cooks is amazing and the food tastes so good. I don't know how they do it. I hope this place sticks around for a long time. Without it I'd probably starve.”

“Unfortunately today there was a blip in my son’s chile verde burrito. First of all he ordered a Chili Relleno Burrito and it had Chile Verde on it. So he thought ok. But it was a pork burrito! I told him to ask them for what I ordered. He blew it off. He regretted his decision. The pork meat was very dry and bland and so was the sauce. I tasted it and I agreed. Then I ordered Topo Chico soda water usual charge is $3.75. This time they charged $4.75. Why? Last Friday a young man served us our soda water in a nicely decorated Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. With an umbrella too. So cute. Our server said he wanted to make it worth your $3.75. I ordered the same thing today mind you. But this time the owner charged it as a Whiskey Shot…huh?!? So my son was charged an additional $1 for serving my soda water in a pretty Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. 🍋‍🟩 So where was the Whiskey! 😂”
