“My wife and I live locally and have been to Draughtsmen Aleworks before, but it has been a long time. So just recently we stopped by for a couple of beers. It wasn’t busy because it was early afternoon, but we happened to strike up a conversation with some other friendly locals and members. The beers were great and the atmosphere along with the company. It’s dog friendly and very welcoming. So , on a lark, I highly recommend visiting Draughtsman Aleworks with its friendly staff and local customers !“

“5 stars for Sam, our host, who is the nicest person we met in a very long time! Also 5 stars for the wonderful Pinot Noir we were served.Before Longoria wines moved in, it used to be Wine Therapy. While we didn't like their wines and service, the ambiance was a lot cozier and the couches very comfortable. The new decor is beautiful, but it is a bit cold and the rounded couches are extremely uncomfortable and narrow. It is not something we want to sit at for a long time (something interior decorators should pay attention to!). Also, when we asked for cheese and crackers, we were told they ran out.We want Longoria wines and Sam to thrive and stay alive, so hopefully they can bring some warm lighting to the place and comfortable seats!“

“We came upon Jamie Slone Wines by chance. I was on Google looking for tasting rooms that were open early on a Sunday and there are only a select few but boy were we happy Jamie and Kym were just setting up when we walked by! They were so welcoming and so much fun we were crossing our fingers that the wine was as great as its owners! It was! We didn't have a single wine we did not like! This place is definitely a diamond in the rough! We had the best time, bought a few bottles and will definitely be back the next time we are in town!“

“Even though I would've driven right place this place nestled in a semi-industrial feel location. Overall, this is exactly what I would expect of a wine tasting. Tasted 5 different wines from the reds and roses. Our server seemed very knowledgable about the different wines. I know nothing about wine and appreciated her suggestions and insight. While I was hopeful I'd be wrong, I knew the chardonnay was going to be my least favorite since I have yet to find one that I like... from any where.It was a super chill patio experience. Apparently this is a popular place for dog owners to hang out with thier pups. Inside was live music but everyone still hung out on the patio because of either the dogs or the weather.The cheese board was a nice compliment to the wine, the nuts and crackers were helpful after my 2nd wine. It would've been nice to have some additional options for those who can't do cheese or have nut allergies. Ended up purchasing some of my fav, the Sauvignon Blanc (2022) and can't wait to share it with friends!“

“Night and day experience. We had been to Happy Canyon earlier in the day and left disappointed. We decided to do a quick tasting at Grassini. The wines here are by far some of the best out of Happy Canyon AVA. Avery and Jackie were the girls working that day, they took great care of us. The Cabernet Sauvignon was our favorite. Grassini is a bit on the pricier side but well worth it. The staff and environment is very enjoyable. Will always make stop while visiting Santa Barbara“

“I had come to Valley Project several times since working in a tasting room down the street but had one visit back in July that left me very impressed with the wine and customer service. Jason was my server that day and after joining the wine club, we have enjoyed every visit to their tasting room and look forward to Jason's hospitality every time. The wine is great and atmosphere is lovely, Jason goes above and beyond to provide us with excellent service every time we visit.“

“Aunie is the BEST! She truly made our candlelight tasting a special experience! I would recommend booking the candlelight tasting on the first Saturday of every month. Also the "Mink" butter was to die for!!!! I highly recommend this experience for local Santa Barbara residents or visitors, call ahead to reserve your spot today!“

“Stopped here for a quick glass of wine, and it was a great spot. The outdoor patio is very open and has plenty of space, and there was even live music when we went which was fun. They have a pretty extensive wine list and each wine was around $15 a 6 oz pour, which is pretty typical pricing. I ordered the "Market Price" 2022 orange wine and although it wasn't very orange in color, it definitely had the classic flavor of an orange wine, and I really enjoyed it. My friend ordered the "Harvest Moon" 2022 white wine blend, which is similar to a vinho verde. This wine was very refreshing and light which we also loved. I wish the servers explained the notes of the wine or just gave us more information prior to us ordering our drinks, but next time I might order a flight to get that experience. Definitely a good place to spend an afternoon with a glass of wine in the funk zone.“
