“Great spot often overlooked. We had no wait though it was fairly crowded. My chilquiles were fabulous, and my sweetie's biscuits & gravy were too big for him to finish. I had two bloody marys and they were good & spicy, served with a delicious piece of crispy bacon and sweet pickle slices - good to the last drop! Great little place for breakfast & lunch.“

The service was good, and I really appreciate that taxes are included in the price makes it easier to split the bill! The orange juice is delicious! “This is my favorite restaurant in Nevada City. The food is really excellent, the atmosphere, feels like a special occasion, every time, and the staff and owner are the *best part*. We feel very nurtured, and taken care of when we go to this café. Recommending everything five stars. The food is really excellent!Vegetarian options: I get the beyond burger, blue burger that has sautéed onions, blue cheese, brioche bun, and comes with either an amazing salad or fries. It taste like a real burger 100% and is amazing. That salads are really really excellent as well.“
