“When you pull up and look at the building, it's a bit of a head-scratcher. It's very non-de script, with a couple apartments as part of it. The small restaurant is upstairs, and Larry, the owner, is as nice as can be. Larry is hard to miss -- he's the 7' tall guy in the room. :-) I went for prime rib night and both the food and drinks were great. It's a pleasant little space with a dedicated bar on one side.”
“Walked in to get a snack before realizing 95% of the menu was vegan friendly. Didn't realize they served Indian food but was pleasantly surprised to learn that they did. I had low expectations, but decided to give the Indian vegetable kofta a shot and was very pleasantly surprised. If I'm ever in Guerneville again I'd come back, especially given the fact that there aren't nearly as many vegan options as I'd hoped.”
“Fun little place, food was great, service so fast. Generally I don't like hash browns, but these are the best I ever had. Go to breakfast here if you ever have the chance.”
“So delicious! Incredible quality sandwiches! Perfect to take home or enjoy outside on the picnic tables. Definitely recommend ? ? ?Kid-friendliness: Several sandwich options with chips.”
“Adorable wee shop, outstanding sandwiches and salads and amazing variety of delicious beverages (beer, wine, and many other fun options). Friendly staff and sitting out back by the river was so tranquil. We'll be back!”
“As someone who's been here long enough to remember Seaside Metal, I'm happy to report that there's another ocean-side restaurant in town. It's got everything from a chowder in a light creamy broth, to oysters both hot and cold. The beet and cheese salad would clean your palate for just about anything, but is especially nice before a crab roll. If you don't try the crab roll, your descendants will never forgive you when they ask for adventures from your childhood. Top notch food and friendly service from owners Greg, Jenny and their staff will at least leave you stuffed and, if you're discriminate, deeply satisfied as well. Get a wine flight, the pours are generous!”
“My sister and her husband and I enjoyed the tastings here so much that we became members and left with a case of wine. This place is a total gem and we love that they support charities. Definitely go here!”
“Beautiful place! We liked everything about this place; so much so that we joined the club. Try the tri-tip sandwich you won't be sorry....unless you're a vegetarian ?”
“As an LA native with so much authentic Mexican food around me, I was a little uncertain about Guerneville's taco truck; but wow! This place is so amazing. I got the number 3, which comes with two tacos, rice and beans. I got an asada taco and a chorizo taco. Both meats were so fresh and wonderfully seasoned. The rice and beans tasted extremely fresh and the rice so was fluffy. I do wish the salsa was a little spicier but that's just preference So happy Guerneville has some bomb Mexican food! can't wait to return to try their other items! Muchas gracias!”
“We have never been to this area before and didn't know of any restaurants. Thank God my daughter found this restaurant on Google. This is a truly five star. The menu has unique ingredients so perfectly combined and designed. The taste of the 4 different dishes we got were truly unique. Ingredients were super fresh. We loved it. Service was very nice, no throwing the plates or silverware. They were placed in the right place. Thank you Boon for a truly nice experience. Was it cheap? No, but good food comes with a price that I am willing to pay. Congrats to the owner and chef Crista Luedtke”
“Highly recommend boon eat + drink! We heard that if we come around 6-7pm on the weekend that there would be a long wait. We went about 10 minutes after opening on Sunday evening, and there were already 2 tables seated. The staff were so nice and attentive. There are two sections to the restaurant: indoors and a covered, heated patio area (they provide blankets). My only small complaint is that some of the tables are close together--I guess that really adds to the cozy vibe. The food was outstanding! In each dish, the different components of the dish balanced each other so well (sweetness + salty + tartness). That made the dishes feel less heavy. Appetizers: *BURRATA cranberry compote | pears | spiced walnuts | grilled bread 9/10 *CAULIFLOWER | sriracha vinaigrette | currant | sesame 8/10 (they ran out of brussel sprouts but the cauliflower was delicious) Mains: *seared DUCK BREAST | cauliflower puree | apricot marmalade | fried kale | pomegranate glaze 10000/10 *chili braised niman PORK shoulder | creamy polenta | fiesta slaw | ricotta salata + pepitas 7/10 They also had an assortment of alcohol to pair with your food :)”
“La Bodeguita has truly outdone themselves with their new menu item, the quesobirria tacos. The entire Bill’s Taxi Family feasted on them Sunday night. These delectable creations are a perfect fusion of flavors and textures. Picture this: tender and juicy meat bursting with flavor, generously filled with just the right amount of cheese that guarantees a satisfying cheese pull with each bite. The balance of cilantro and onions is impeccable, not overpowering but just enough to enhance the overall experience.Let’s not forget about the star of the show - the consomé dipping sauce. This broth is a masterpiece on its own, not oily and perfectly strained so you won’t find any unwelcome chunks floating about. It’s a smooth delight, teeming with all the right spices and aromatics that make every sip a journey for your taste buds. The slight kick at the back of your throat is just the cherry on top, leaving you craving more.If you’re a food enthusiast, these quesobirria tacos at La Bodeguita are a must-try. Hurry, they’re only available on weekends and sell out fast. Don’t miss your chance to indulge in this culinary delight!”
“The rooms are good and the staff is great. I really enjoy staying here. The food is also pretty good as well. The drinks have a good pore and watch out for the frozen drinks, they are good but the catch up and get you drunk in a good way.”
“This is my first time to Guerneville, and Pats was the first place we ate. We came Christmas weekend, and the staff was welcoming, we’re ready to answer any questions about the area, gave us so many wonderful recommendations, and the food was terrific! Will absolutely be back when we visit again!”
“This place has authentic Cajun food! Amazing beef and pork ribs, BBQ chicken, fried catfish, poboys and more. All the sides too! Collard greens, Mac and cheese, okra, red beans and rice, and many many more. And the cornbread waffles and crack butter are a unique touch. And great desserts too!Friendly service and the decor is evocative of Louisiana.”
