“Not only was at the best, gluten-free scone I’ve ever had in my life, it was the best scone I have ever had in my life in general! Blueberries and orange icing on it was amazing, the workers there were so welcoming and lovely. My iced latte was delicious, and I totally went to this place on a whim, but I will definitely be going back! It was also exciting to see that on St. Patrick’s Day they had gluten free Irish soda bread, and it was also delicious! It is not celiac friendly; however, if you don’t mind Cross contamination and are just gluten intolerant I definitely recommend this place! Or if anything stop by for the coffee/tea!”
“We were totally happy with our stay; had a beautiful room, comfy bed, relaxing massage, enjoyed the lawn directly at the river and had tasty tea from the great tea selection.”
“On March 15th at 6:30PM I walked into Northwood. Little did I know my life would change forever. Who ever was working the frier that night give them a raise! Clearly a person who is ain't anxious and is willing to let those little onion rings get to a beautiful glorious brown color. These were hands down the best onion rings of my life. Crunchy! Tasty! When you bite into them, I don't drag out the whole onion, this is key! The sign of a great cook working the frier! Thanks for changing my world.”
“A tiny gem of a restaurant tucked away in Bodega Bay. Our very pleasant hostess Julia was cognizant of our dietary needs and offered excellent entree alternatives. Their bread pudding is to die for. Turned out to be a very pleasant, albeit impromptu Easter experience for us.”
“I have been going to River’s end restaurant for almost two decades and have always loved the experience. This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. I will make sure to come back more often in order to unplug and relax completely in this paradisiacal getaway.”
“Best pizza restaurant in West county! Highly recommend stopping in for some delicious food. Enjoy the relaxed vibe, along with great customer service.Vegetarian options: GreatParking: GreatKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“Phenomenal wine bar. Fun for all wine nerds. Burgundy city with old wines, everything ready to pop. Finished the night with insanely good sake, had a gorgeous sancerre. Next time I'm going burg or going home. Ha. Thank you Evan. So nice to meet you. I'll see you often buddy.”
“Impressive venue, spectacular location. Just a few minutes from a beautifully designed Healdsburgh square. The restaurant is located in a historic mansion, warm and inviting upon entry. The staff is well trained, engaging but not over the top. Great selection of wines, I would like to see more of mid priced choices. All the dishes were well presented and proportioned. I was impressed how the chef made all the ingredients work in harmony. My appetizer and main dish were salty, next time I will ask for no added salt. The carrot cake for dessert was just plain. The added raisins did not elevate it, not comparable to my other dishes. A banal way to finish an otherwise fabulous meal. I will go back and I recommend it highly.”
“This place is a hidden gem! Everything we have tried has been delicious! The people who work there are so nice and lovely to talk to despite the place being super busy on the weekend. Every time we are around that area we stop at wild flour.”
“Outstanding south Indian cuisine. Delicious vegetarian and vegan curries and other variations of vegetable dishes. Good samosas and dal soup. The staff are great and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.”
“So happy to see this Cafe open and under new owners. Outstanding fresh selection of pastries and espresso drinks. Very nice people too. Great location on Hwy 1, just north of the busy town of Bodega Bay before you get to the campground. I'll be back with my cycling buddies often. (Hrs: 8:30-2:30, Tuesday through Sunday). Check out their Beehive Danish. I'm getting that next time.”
“This place has authentic Cajun food! Amazing beef and pork ribs, BBQ chicken, fried catfish, poboys and more. All the sides too! Collard greens, Mac and cheese, okra, red beans and rice, and many many more. And the cornbread waffles and crack butter are a unique touch. And great desserts too!Friendly service and the decor is evocative of Louisiana.”
“Went to Porter Creek during the Wine Road Barrel Tastings weekend in Sonoma. We were greeted at the parking lot by their two friendly dogs Poppy and Paco.We followed the little hosts (dogs) up the road to where they had set up the tent for the barrel tasting. It was rainy and cold but there were heaters to keep us warm. The barrel tasting of pinot noirs were pretty good. After that we went into the tasting room and tried the current pinot noirs. So good! We bought a few bottles to go.”
“The ham and cheese croissant is the most delicious bite ever! Whenever I have people visiting, I always bring them here. Everything is top notch and I have never been disappointed.”
“Another amazing restaurant in Healdsburg. We loved the global creativity of the dishes, the elegant cocktails, and the fun atmosphere. The service was exceptional too. We sat at the bar (I thought I’d made a reservation but hadn’t) and we were glad to be there. The folks behind the bar were engaging and interesting. We had the two specials (a crudo and the croquette) and the dry rubbed ribs and French fries. Each dish was unique and clever. It’s going to be hard not going back every time we are in town.”
“Absolutely love this place! Fresh, local ingredients. Pizzas are creative and so flavorful. The gluten free one was just as good as the regular! Worth the drive!”
“When you pull up and look at the building, it's a bit of a head-scratcher. It's very non-de script, with a couple apartments as part of it. The small restaurant is upstairs, and Larry, the owner, is as nice as can be. Larry is hard to miss -- he's the 7' tall guy in the room. :-) I went for prime rib night and both the food and drinks were great. It's a pleasant little space with a dedicated bar on one side.”
“Our experience was absolutely incredible. Letisha helped setup the perfect itinerary a month before our stay and was spot on! She was fantastic to work with and made our stay special. Everyone on staff was professional and held their service to the highest standards. The property, rooms, and dining were top notch. I would recommend Farmhouse Inn to anyone.Make sure to utilize the free wine tastings you get as being a guest of Farmhouse inn. In addition, they will arrange a driver for dinners in Healdsburg so you can focus on the experience. Make sure to give a tip!”
“My friend and I were in Occidental CA. Wanting to go to Bodega Bay 1/2 drive for lunch at the Fisherman's Cove, the place that people rave about. Now I know why LOL. A really cute place with both indoor, patio seating and stools by a counter to look out at the bay. We arrived around 3:30 PM and got super lucking with parking. A car was pulling out as we entered. When you walk in, it's like a country store, that serves food. Menu is on the wall along with a board with specials. You order and pay at the counter. You are given a number that your food get delivered to wherever you are seating. We decided on the Calamari and Chips, Dozen Raw Oysters and a couple of ice cold Lagunitas IPA. I tell you these oysters I had were so fresh, fairly big, creamy and delicious. The calamari, light, crispy and perfectly fried! We say at the window counter eating while admiring the beautiful view if Bodega Bay. Atmosphere: Off the dock seafood feel. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.”
“If you want a good baked treat Roadhouse Coffee Bodega Bay is the place . Make sure you come in early for your treat because these things fly off the shelf super fast . The only issue is it's not always open when the sign says . Roadhouse Coffee is most definitely well worth making the trip to get a decent cup of coffee and an amazing baked goodie .”
“Walked in to get a snack before realizing 95% of the menu was vegan friendly. Didn't realize they served Indian food but was pleasantly surprised to learn that they did. I had low expectations, but decided to give the Indian vegetable kofta a shot and was very pleasantly surprised. If I'm ever in Guerneville again I'd come back, especially given the fact that there aren't nearly as many vegan options as I'd hoped.”
“Great breakfast joint! This was our first time here and we'll definitely come back. The Cali scramble was delicious and my wife had an avocado sandwich. Very good food and the prices are very fair as well.”
“fabulous place. gets a little packed with weekenders/tourists so i'm so glad they expanded their hours/days! excellent food options and tasty GF options too. love love love.”
“Fun little spot. Drinks and fun atmosphere. We stopped in this gem while visiting our uncles. We came in and the place was ready. Fun and good customer service. Good drinks and good energy in this place. Wanted to come back for the Halloween party but we did not make it out. Maybe next time!”
“Fun little place, food was great, service so fast. Generally I don't like hash browns, but these are the best I ever had. Go to breakfast here if you ever have the chance.”
“Foam on the short pull espresso was phenomenal paired alongside a Nutella croissant topped with toasted almonds and powder sugar on a Tuesday morning followed by a brief read of a book. Nothing like the patio where it all conjured a memorable experience. May this place remain a gem on the way to the Oceanside.”
“This was such a fun Tasting! We had a great time with this diverse and knowledgeable staff…not to mention an absolutely amazing choice of Pinots! It was most delicious paired with our cheese and bruschetta tray. Thank you for the great education, stories, laughs and a wonderful wine!”
“We arrived too late for a full tasting, but the gentleman invited us in for an abbreviated version. The wines we did get to try were delicious and satisfying. Great ambiance. Excellent customer service.”
“We were here for the Wine Road barrel tasting weekend and they've put out their three best wines, Nebiolo, Montepulciano, and Sangiovese, for the tasting.Very friendly winemaker and staff. There's a mini Italian market inside and they were giving out samples of the panetonne and a spicy sausage pasta. There were tables outside in the back patio with a nice view of the vines. No outside food allowed.”

“A perfect cafe, if such a thing can exist. Warm, wonderful, artful space with cool art and a great outdoor space. A great Skatepark right next to the cafe surrounded by redwood trees. The owners are the sweetest couple, the food is SO GOOD. Try the Beach Laffa, you’ll be glad you did. This is the only place in a 50 mile radius that can make a perfect Oatmilk cappuccino.”
