I had Birria and it was good but I ordered my kids 2 orders or carne asada tacos, the meat had been previously cooked and then reheated, the meat was dry and the color was of not freshly cooked meat, not once the gentleman server came over to check on our food, I told them about the food and they got defensive, one of the 2 plates was better but the first order was definitely reheated meat, they said we should have said something but no one came out of the kitchen to check how was our food, I said I was not going to pay for that order, my son only ate 1 taco and they overcharged me for the food, not coming back to eat here. Also on the expensive side

I had a plate of lamb birria stew, the soup was hardy and delicious, they don't offer a selection of the meat like other places but it was good, I ordered my kids carne asada tacos and the tortillas were hand made, reheated and so was the meat, it was previously cooked carne asada and just reheated which makes the meat dry, you can tell the meat had not been cooked to order so it was disappointing. My Son only ate 1 taco because he was hungry, I shared the birria with him, was hoping for a better experience since last time the birria also go was good, haven't tried the seafood but when you start cutting corners is just not a good sign, the waiter not once came to check on us or on the food and it was pricey , I asked them about the meat and the waiter confirmed othe meat was previously cooked and reheated with butter but the lady as the register said it was cook to order and I asked her to only charge me for the 1 out of 3 tacos my son ate and she still charges me full price

Stopped by for some takeout on the way home from Monterey and it was the best decision ever. Ordered the governor shrimp tacos per the recommendation from the waiter and was blown away! These tacos (3 per order) were huge and full of plump, perfectly cooked spicy shrimp, crisp lettuce, avocado & what I thought was chipotle mayo but was surprised to find was thousand island dressing. (It was a pleasant surprise.) I believe the corn tortillas were homemade. The order also came with lime wedges and salsa that was spicy and so good that I saved some to take home. These were the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. Only wish this place was closer to home, but will be back everytime I pass through Santa Nella.

Great pit stop on I5 for authentic and fresh Mexican food! Homemade chips and tortillas. Had one carne asada taco and guacamole- neither were on the menu but they made it fresh for me!

One of the worst mexican foods we have had. Shrimp cocktail has no flavor. The camarones al MOJO de ajo were disgusting and refried beans had no flavor. If you pass them on your trip just keep going and dont stop. We should have just gone to the taco trucks.

The customer service was fine, the people there seem really nice. However, my husband ordered an aguachile mixto ( name of dish- mitotero), and the shrimp were not fresh. They were old and they were not clean properly. Also, their agua de horchata sadly did not have any flavor, it tasted at least two to three days old the only thing we truly did enjoyed were the camarones empanizados. However, the hand made tortillas were clearly reheated and very hard I hate giving bad reviews, but I truly don't think it fair for people to go in and spend their money on food they're really looking forward to, especially Mariscos. It was just my husband and I, and we were charged $65.

I ordered a burrito and diet coke. The burrito was heavy on the rice and beans, not meat. It tasted bland. Rice was cakey. Coke was out of a can. Nice folks just expected better food. Plenty of parking. Semis can easily park outside.

I was there on Friday wanted to try this place... food was ok but too expensive. I also had to remind the lady serving us about our drinks, we were already eating and still no drinks, she totally forgot. She was paying more attention to her phone then us as customers. Cash only no sign and you have to go next door store to take out cash from ATM
