I have been going to Tokyo Lobby for over 35 years. The San Gabriel Tokyo Lobby closed in 2014, so we have to drive out to Hacienda Heights. We go out that way once every 3 months to get a haircut in Walnut. We usually have the lunch special. E special - teriyaki beef and teriyaki chicken, tempura. #2 special - CA roll, teriyaki beef and tempura. All meals come with salad, soup and rice. Nice large portion. I usually have to box half my meal. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely drop by.

Amazing food and great service. Definitely recommend. Been eating here since I was a kid and the place is still the same.
Service was prompt and food came out fast. Unfortunately, the ribeye teriyaki plate didn't measure up and tasted aged, and not in a good way, but they removed it from the bill with an apology.Parking: Adjacent to the restaurant

Good place to go for Americanized Japanese food. Lots of teriyaki dishes and specialty rolls. Would recommend the combination plates as you get a good amount of food. Sushi is pretty basic. Great for large groups especially if people don't eat sushi. Service was average as our server disappeared a lot. If you are looking for authentic Japanese food, then this is not the place for you.

I been coming here since I was a little girl. There was a change in ownership since and that's when they stopped serving the Endamame, not the same. Food still tastes great!!! They do close each day for an hour between lunch & dinner at 3pm. Portion size is good.Vegetarian options: California or Avocado Rolls
I hadn't been here in a while forgot it was even here. Was here last week and food was fine but service was terrible at best. They brought the wrong orders and they forget to bring sushi that was ordered. Person I brought asked the waitress to see the menu twice second time she walked by us like we weren't there. It took someone that was cleaning tables to bring the menu. There was a definite change as far as service. My family came here for family parties 25 years ago and we ordered 2 boats an service was great! I have no plans of returning it was a fiasco and it wasn't that busy when we were there either
