“Confessions of a Pastry Fiend: My Downfall (and Triumph) at the Downtown Bakery & Creamery Rain pattered outside, drumming a melody of comfort food cravings. Healdsburg Plaza beckoned, and nestled within its embrace, the Downtown Bakery & Creamery whispered sweet nothings (of pastry, naturally). We'd admired it from afar on past visits, but today, curiosity and rumbling stomachs took the lead. I, in my infinite wisdom (or perhaps denial), thought a biscotti with my chamomile tea sufficed. Pistachio and cherry, it promised, and oh, how it delivered! One bite and I was Alice tumbling down a delicious rabbit hole, compelled to sample every sugary wonder within reach. Macarons that sang opera in my mouth! Almond tarts that waltzed on my taste buds! I was a pastry puppet, strings controlled by the friendly lady at the counter, who, bless her soul, kept whispering, "Just one more..." But alas, even my bottomless pit of a stomach has limits (although, admittedly, those limits get blurry around macarons). I emerged victorious (mostly), vowing to return on a sunny day. Then, with a coffee in hand and a sugar-powered skip in my step, I'd conquer those park benches, one pastry sample at a time. Trust me, the crumbs tell a delicious tale. So, dear reader, if you find yourself in Healdsburg, heed my warning: the Downtown Bakery & Creamery is a siren song of butter and sugar. Resist at your peril (but don't say I didn't warn you!).“
“We love this place. We have been to both locations (Santa Rosa the other one). Their ice cream is delish and good variety of flavors. They offer tasty treats as well. My only gripe, i wish they would change their cupcake GF option, it is always the same (been that way for years). My husband is a fan of their pies. This location gets busy during the warmer months so be prepared to wait in line if you come to the square during a hot day!“
“Pan de yema is the best and the tortas of quesillo o queso Oaxaca is the authentic quesillo of Oaxaca is a gourmet everybody need to taste ? something I like is they open at 5:30 so on Friday to Sunday tamales and chapurrado on the morning is the best for any Mexican I say it because I'm Mexican ? ?Nada mejor que unos tamales con con buen cafe o chapurrado para despertar como buen mexicano ???“
“HIGHLY recommend the Flying Goat coffee shop.It was a very welcome variation from the endless number of starbucks, this coffee shop has excellent coffee that left me wanting for more from my usual coffee shops.Had the capuccino which was excellent“
“I'm hoping the managers see this "review" (message). Your employees need some major training in customer service! I shouldn't be the one saying, "Hi, how are you doing?" and then they say, "Hi. Fine." And I shouldn't be the one to say, "Thanks! Have a good night." They don't reply because they're on to the next customer. Other than this, I love this store!Oh yeah - potential customers, make sure you check the expiration dates (they can sometimes be past the date).“
“A lovely place for brunch and baked goods. Offering many vegetarian options. The vegan eggs and soy chorizo are scrumptious and their sour dough bread and veggie sandwiches are delicious and filling. The bakery is packed with an assortment of Fresh French pastries, cookies, muffins, and decorative cakes. The prices are high for the quantity of food you receive on your plate but overall very tasty dishes, sandwiches and sweet treats— my go to is their cinnamon walnut bread— extremely addictive. The waitstaff are friendly and courteous so I definitely recommend checking out this quaint historical bakery located off of downtown Healdsburg.Vegetarian options: Mostly an all meat menu but they do offer vegan scrambled eggs and soy chorizo, beet salad, French toast, and veggies sandwiches on a croissant or sourdough bread.“

“BurtoNZ Bakery is located in Windsor near the Safeway and in that shopping center. If you haven't been, it's an amazing place to check out! I got a small box of treats for a small group that I work with and everyone loved the breakfast pastries! They have incredible pasteries that are absolutely delicious! They have a great selection so that whatever you are looking for, they have! I went first thing in the morning so there wasn't a line and the breakfast items were soooooo delicious! It's hard to choose because they have so many amazing options. I will definitely be back!“
“My favorite bakery and pastry shop. I used to go to their San Francisco location on Balboa St all the time and was sad to see them go. I have visited their location in Santa Rosa twice and wish I could go more often. Absolutely superb breakfast pastries, breads and lunch entrees.“
“Very popular spot for locals and visitors alike. I haven't had a baked good there that I didn't love, everything is fantastic! Quiche, oatmeal cream pies, avo toast, sticky buns are a few of my favorites. Last time I tried the coffee it wasn't great, not terrible but I would recommend sticking to bakery items. You can expect to wait in line, especially on the weekends, but it's worth it! The staff are lovely, very friendly. There is limited seating outside, and the parking lot is small and fills up fast.Parking: Parking lot is small and can be difficult to get in/out of when it is busy“
