Have lived in highland for over 40 years. I have had many dinners and to go orders. Best Chinese restaurant around locally.

I should have known better when I saw the roach trap and dirty floor and windows but I was in a hurry. Ordered almond chicken which didn’t have almonds but peanuts. Also Kung pao. Both were drenched in a dark brown sauce and the only vegetables were some roughly cut pieces of celery. Won’t go there ever again

We were in the area and decided to give Jade Inn a try. So glad we did! Our experience started with 3 flavor sizzling rice soup filled with shrimp, chicken, and perfectly cooked veggies, paper wrapped chicken, bbq ribs, and little egg rolls. All were very good. For our entree I got asparagus and beef and Honey got broccoli beef. Both were superb! The tried rice was very different than what I have had in the past and I ate every grain! We brought enough for another meal home. Jade Inn was a hidden treasure and a heck of a good meal. The service was wonderful and our server was helpful and so fun. We will definitely be going back.

We've been pretty regular customers of Jade Inn since it opened but food and service for to-go orders has been awful lately. For example- tonight the pan fried dumplings were barely steamed and basically dough. Asked for extra dipping sauce and hot mustard and did not receive. If you ask for more at the register they now almost refuse. Why add a tip if there's no service. Sweet and sour sauce is now basically water. $80 for not great good. Very, very disappointed to stop giving them our business.

My partner and I came here and overall; we were unimpressed. We got teriyaki chicken, cream cheese wontons, chicken fried rice, and beef broccoli. Out of everything we got the beef was definitely the most disappointing. It was incredibly soft so soft that it was just really gross. The chicken that was in the teriyaki chicken tasted like it had gone bad it was almost a little slimy and has a foul taste to it. The cream cheese wontons were really good actually and the chicken fried rice was pretty good as well. The waiter was really nice. The interior of the building was really outdated.

Ok on my number scale as far as time before you have to go to the restroom after eating here it's hours. The place is clean. When we got there I noticed all the tables only had water to drink. We didn't ask for water we all had different types of cold drinks. No free refills and up to $3.50 for drinks in a bottle. This was my 2nd time here. The 1st time was while everything was to go and I felt it was too expensive for that. The food is good but the service is just above a fast food restaurant. It's up there with a Farmer Boys but under let's say Jenny's down the road. The service doesn't merit the prices. If you had 4 persons in your party and they all get drinks you just paid for an extra meal. I see why people get the water, but still the service doesn't merit the service. It gets too a price point where you expect a little better service.

Normally everything is pretty good. Just this time the shrimp had a hint of a cleaning product taste with the egg fu young. I told the waitress, she was very polite and asked if I wanted more but I refused because what if it tasted the same. Other than that a pleasant place.

Over priced and not very tasty. The chicken dish had some heat but no real flavor. The Shanghai soup dumplings were okay tasting but the outer noodle was very much on the al dente side. My wife didn’t even eat her Shanghai noodles. My son had two to three bites of broccoli beef and called it quits. We are very disappointed.
