“We have been looking for a great sit down Chinese restaurant for a while. I had the vegetable chowmein and my husband had a combo with sweet and sour pork. We shared spring rolls. “Best Mexican food I've ever had. Horchata was perfect, not too sweet and it wasn't grainy at the bottom. The free chips and salsa was fresh and spicy. Carne asada burrito was incredible. Rice was perfectly cooked and everything was well seasoned. Our takeout order was labeled and ready when they said it would be. The only Mexican food I'll ever eat.”

“Pizza Good enough for Rico's Roughnecks! Man I really love this place. I judge my choices specifically on the food and the service. The way the place looks is always bonus. Let's get into this. First - the pizza is always fresh and baked perfectly. We have gotten so many different types and sizes of pizza. Everything from the personal up to the party size. The party size pizza is a little pricey but it feeds so many people! The ingredients are always fresh. I haven't gotten any veggies or proteins that taste like they say in a fridge for too long. I recommend an order of onion rings as well! Super good classic style rings. Not the crumb Sysco rings. Second - I truly can't remember the owner's name but she is the most friendly down to earth lady. She lives locally in the valley and is just a small business owner trying to make a living for her family. With that being said the service is always on point. They are happy to help and are great about requests on your pizza. Third - The inside isn't cutting edge pizza parlor. However there is plenty of room for larger parties of 20+. There is a billiard table to play with your friends. They have some old school arcade games, a pinball machine and some prize claw games. They have soda fountain machines and they serve beer as well. Overall this is a great pizza place. I know Hughson has pizza Factory and it is a great place too. I'm just saying don't count this place out. It's awesome and is our no. 1 pizza spot in Ceres and Hughson.”

“Very cute family friendly stop for using a nice clean restroom, letting the kids run off some.pent up energy from the car trip, and a great selection of delicious freshly home made pies, dessert, turnovers and freshly made with local fresh fruit homestyle baked goods. A huge selection of handmade jams and belly dried fruit fresh fruit , I really live this place it is a great place to stop if you have kids especially, there is a large plat area and a fairly large pond with beches and a gazebo arpund it and countlessturtles that come out of the waterand stack themselves on rocls to soak in the sun. Always clean restrooms and I have tried alot of the desserts and lived evey one. My favorite is the apple or apricot turnovers they are huge.”

“I just found my new pizza spot! I ordered a XL Hot Honey Pepperoni and it was absolutely delicious! When in woke up this morning, I swear to you it was the first thing on my mind! I'm going back tonight and trying another one of their creations and I'll bet I love that one too! I found the staff to be very warm, polite and inviting. Great find indeed!”

“This is one of my favorite places to go! The wine selection is wonderful and the staff is knowledgeable about the wines. The food is incredible. We always got the bruschetta with burrata and it's great. The balsamic reduction drizzled on the top with pesto and tomatoes is just lovely. We recently tried the smoke, whipped feta. We had a hard time not finishing the whole thing, it was that good! I've taken so many friends here. My company has get togethers here from time to time. At this point this place is just part of my culture. Camp 4 has been in Modesto for a while and we are lucky to have it!”

I'm originally from Monterey county but lived in Turlock for 10+ years and I can legit say this spot is one of the best in Nor Cal and the Wings!! “My first detailed review since this is one of the first AYCE hot pots in Modesto, and I want to give my thoughts about it, so apologies for the long paragraphs I'm about to type! Let me tell you something. It's been a hot, HOT minute that I've been to an AYCE hot pot, and it's in the Bay of course (e.g. Shabuway). I was curious to try this out yet it's one of the first locations in the U.S. (mainland), the rest are in Hawaii. By the ambiance, it was super clean and came in on a normal Tuesday with my dad, when they just opened. However, during the weekends, be prepared for the wait time, as it's best to be a bit early before it closes so that you have a chance to try this place. Now onto the experience. As usual AYCE Shabu Shabu places, you order the soup base and order your meat. During lunch (which I went), meat (unless you pay extra for their premium meat), the sides, and the sauce bar are unlimited. I picked the miso base while my dad picked the seafood base. The conveyor belt on the side to have easy access in getting your sides, which honestly is so cool to take as many as you like. Also if you order meat, there will be a cute train delivering them to you, which is also cool to see. For the taste? Chef's kiss. Miso is super rich and yummy, while the seafood is good too. Haven't tried the other flavors but planning to order some next time. You can only order one soup base though and can't change a different soup base. However you can ask your server to ask for more broth, just that the flavor will be in original. The meat is fresh and tender, as well as my sides complement beautifully with the soup. Dipping sauces also complement too, and that sesame sauce...my GOODNESS. It reminded me of one of the sauces I tried in a KBBQ restaurant. In conclusion, for the atmosphere, unlimited meat, sides, and sauces, plus the quick service, $24 for lunch AYCE is worth it. And especially since I didn't see one AYCE hot pot location in Modesto, this is a start for many people to hang out and enjoy the comfort of eating Shabu Shabu without driving to the Bay. Trust me, if you're waiting for an hour on a busy Saturday, it'll be WORTH. THE. WAIT. :)”
