We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday over the weekend with a group of close friends and family. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Melissa was amazing and helped me pull the event together super last minute. Our server was 10 stars!! She was so accommodating and attentive to our group, I can honestly say I don't think we've ever had a better server! We had so much fun while enjoying good company, good food, and great drinks. Thank you to the amazing team at Golden Road!

The food here is so good! I would choose this place for food over the other brewery down the way. Nestled right by the marina, you get a view of all the boats that are docked and can even take a kayak to this brewery! The garlic knots are the freaking best! Pizzas, tacos, sliders, and basically everything is good. It's hard to find fried pickles anywhere around here, but the fried pickles are here, and they are DELICIOUS!Mango cart is my go to here and anywhere else it's served. Mango cart on a hot summer day. Mango cart after a stressful week. Mango cart to ease my worries. Ordering process is your traditional way here. Menus are brought to you once you've found a table. Wait staff comes and takes your order, takes care of you from start to finish. Service has always been excellent here. Open space and lots of seating to accommodate large parties. No sunset views at this brewery, but if you cross the street to the beach, there you will find your sunset!

There were only 2 waiters present on a holiday weekend and you just seat yourself. Service was so slow that even the chef had to bring out the meals to the tables himself. A patron had also accidentally dropped a plate that shattered into many pieces. The waiter clearly saw and heard what happened as he walked by it and didn't do anything about it! The broken dish pieces sat on the floor for maybe 30 minutes until a guy sitting at a nearby table picked up some of the larger broken pieces. Typical bar food - we had greasy, salty pepperoni pizza and dry crabcake sliders. The classic pub pretzel and beers are good.
Nice place for celebration. The appetizers are quite good and the atmosphere is nice.

This Golden Road in HB is not like the one in Anaheim. This one is a lot smaller and the brewery vibes aren't really there. Maybe because we went on a Sunday night. Food and drinks are typical. But definitely prefer the Anaheim one over the HB one. Service is ok, does overlook the water ish lol

This is such a nice brewery. Golden road in Anaheim got a bit too mainstream but this one was so nice on a Friday night. We celebrated a friend's engagement here and the server and beers were on point. The vibes were good and looking out towards the marina is definitely a plus. What stood out to me the most was the staff. They close pretty early at 9.30 and we loitered around the front for a bit as it's been a long time since we've all seen each other. 15 or 20 minutes later, a worker comes out and asked us if anyone needed to use the bathroom before they lock up. I understand this isn't a major deal but this goes to show what kind of workers they have there, which are great and considerate people.
