Pho of the Desert is a typical pho joint that feels familiar. The Pho broth needs some work, as it was bland and not very flavorful, ranking a 2.5 out of 5. However, the spring rolls, especially the Thit nuong ones, were awesome with good peanut sauce and Nuoc Cham. The rice wrap grilled pork is excellent with a balance of flavors. The vegetarian plates are also enjoyable. The portions are large with lots of meat, and the service is quick and attentive. The ambience is traditional with photos of Vietnamese on the walls. Overall, a great authentic Vietnamese restaurant worth visiting again.
