First read about this in a Michael Connelly Bosch book and had to make the drive up to Inglewood to check it out. The book mentioned the Fried Chicken and Peach Cobbler so we had to order that, picking up for ourselves and our neighbors. Food was very good, flavorful, and every bit as good as the book led us to believe.

Got there at 9 because every you look has 9 listed as their open time. waited for 25 minutes, still no one. Called the number on the door, out of service. called hawthorne location to ask what times they opened or if they could give me the right number and they didn't know anything

Had exactly what I needed! Quick transaction! Friendly staff! Open later than most in the area.

Fantastic meal; had fried fish lunch with corn and black eyed peas/rice sides and a peach cobbler. Fried fish was cooked perfectly; perfect amount of breading. Corn was nicely flavored with tomatoes; I'm not a huge fan of okra but it was delicious with the corn. Peach cobbler was a gooey, perfect way to end the meal. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Good bet to order online; there was (unsurprisingly) a long line when I ordered today!

AMAZING. What a gem. I had the liver with the mac and cheese for lunch. It was delicious, tasted homemade. Also went there for breakfast had grits, eggs and salmon crockets - yummy. You have to try it. But I have to worn you. All it takes is 1 visit for it to become a habit. Its a grate value. & the menu has ALOT of options. So it will take you awhile to go through most of it.

Good soul food restaurant! Quite popular! Stays busy! Manchester location usually has a line. Crenshaw not usually as much.

The food was A-OK and a little over hyped. The only dish that I enjoyed was the mac and cheese. Cornbread and fried chicken was bland. The wait to to place your order and to get your take out food was ridiculous. Only about six customers in front of me and an hour wait total. Maybe because I seen the workers moving like snails.

Worst service ever. Motivated to post across social media. Ordered and paid one day before, for a 5:30P dulan's pickup. I get there at 5:35 and there is chaos at the pickup window. So, I call to let them know that I am there, and I'm told my order has been cancelled. It's 5:40. I checked and got an email at 5:21 that my order was cancelled. Who cancels a pickup order. I also took a Lyft. Just a disaster. Dulan's sucks!Week before I wait approximately an hour between order and pickup at the Century location.

Dulan's, if you're from LA you know this place to be an ol' faithful for a soul food dinner. I like to order in advance online or over the phone because it's the only way to go. I'd suggest getting there a little after the pick up time due to experience of waiting. The food is good, most dishes are A1, the cornbread muffins - my God, yes! Go and grab a few plates for your family! Enjoy!

The store was not open when I got there. Opening time was 10am... I would have understood if there was a sign stating hours changed due to COVID. I decided to wait in my car for 30 mins for the store associate to get there. She seemed very nice but was not helpful. Supply’s were limited I guessing from COVID. Not sure if I would go back.

I usually don't crave soul food, but today my appetite needed something intense to satisfy it!! My friend and I ventured to Inglewood and luckily the line wasn't bad - we probably waited about 10 min to order and another 10 to get the food.I got the lunch plate with fried chicken (dark meat), and mac n cheese and candied yams as my sides. To be honest, the fried chicken was not fresh. The skin wasn't crispy at all and the chicken was a little dry. The thigh piece was better, but overall I would still rather get my fried chicken fix somewhere even like Popeyes haha. The sides were pretty good; I liked the yams a lot because they tasted just like pie filling! The star of the meal was definitely the corn bread muffins. Buttery, a little crumbly, lightly sweet. And you get two!! Overall a good deal at less than $15 after tax+tip.
