This restaurant used to be one of our family's favorites but my last visit (on 9/7/22) was rather disappointing. The medium-rare top sirloin was tough and over-seasoned with excessive salt. I gave feedback to the server but regretted not returning it or ordered something else instead. My wife's baby back ribs that used to "fall-off-the-bone" was OK and not as food as in the past. The atmosphere and service were good, and prices reasonable.

The food quality has gone down so much (except the bread), also the place is very filthy, I wonder why the health department has not given them a fine/warning or has not closed down the place.

I was NOT expecting to love this as much as I did! It was amazing. Our waiter was SO good and the food was phenomenal. I want to go back!

Lunch is $25.99 plus Hot Tea: $5.90; you only could order 4 dishes at a time and then “going on forever”, however, you should not have left-over, otherwise, a fine, I assumed. A few choices only available for dinner price($32.99). We ordered Skinny Dipping Cow; Karubi In Tokyo; Tried N True(Bulgogi, Tasty); Daa Pae Pork Belly; Surfin Shrimp(each order has 4 pieces); Winnie The Poohs Sn; Eight Firing Arms(spicy octopus, each order has 2 pieces). We enjoyed Bulgogi, shrimp and octopus more than others. Service was good and responsive.

Flamingo grill is just across the highway from us. 8/30/21 we ordered 3 Patty Melts and 1 cheese burger and everything was awesome. Our food was prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. Love supporting this place!

Their chicken menus are pretty good, but the kabobs are nothing special and $3-$10 more than comparable ones elsewhere. They will work through their phone orders before considering talking to you. The final straw was when the guy at the counter gave me a hard time for getting more than one refill. You have a drinking fountain where a cup costs you 25 cents and you charge more than $2. That is enough of a margin even if I get two or god forbid three refills. Will not come here again.

food quality is average, prices are fair to high, atmosphere is not much, too crammed up and typical eatery trying to capitalize on every square feet.

Been wanting to try Iranian food since I saw The Food Ranger's videos on YouTube of their visit to Iran. The Hen House was my first try in the OC. I tried Ghormeh Sabzi, the herb stew. It was very good and lived up to the high expectations set by the Food Ranger. The portion was huge and included the required Iranian rice plus bread. I took half back to my office for lunch the next day. When I heated it in the microwave I got comments from the rest of the office as to how good it smelled. I'm going back to try the chicken and kebab's. I also want to try other stews.

This was my first and last time at Hen House Grill. I walked in to place a to go order. Waited for a minute and ordered. While I stood looking at the plates of food going out of the kitchen, I noticed that the portions are very, very big. I watched to go orders being taken to customers. As I continued to wait, I saw an order sitting on the counter. I thought that since they had my name they would call me to pick it up. Finally, 25 minutes later I asked and the man who took my order pointed to the one that had been sitting there for at least 10 minutes. Very disappointing to say the least. I am not Persian, not sure what happened here, but I will say that everyone else was welcomed and seemed to know or be friendly with the staff. Maybe they got carried away with all the orders. But I left thinking warm food was going to cold, cold food was going to be warm. And that is how we ate it. So TERRIBLE it is.

Awesome deals and the staff is super friendly. Can't beat the cheeseburger with fries deal. Delicious :)
