A co-worker recommended Itea Cafe for lunch and the food was good. However, service can use some improvement, as we waited a few minutes to place our order and wasn't acknowledged by the two workers that were at the register. Both workers walked away twice, before one made himself available to take our orders. This occurred with all walk-in customers and didn't look good for business. The food was not bad that's a pretty good for the most part. I feel there was a little either too much seasoning sometimes a little too salty. As well the condiment side was a little heavy on some items. Overall it was not too bad and the location is pretty good in the area.

I used to love itea; it's been a staple in Irvine for 10+ years. The quality of food really worsened, and the price is getting ridiculous. They changed a lot of the authentic ingredients to something else along with the way they prepare many of the dishes. For similar tasting food, I suggest going to tofu king.
