Restaurant is beautiful and as a long time attendee, I’m really disappointed in the level of service lately. The last three times I’ve been to Javier’s, the service has been super subpar and I’m consistently leaving let down.

I went during opening and the patio setting was a beautiful atmosphere. It did get a little loud towards the end when more people were getting seated. The staff were very attentive. I recommend the skirt steak because it just melts in your mouth along with the guacamole. The guacamole is $18, but I honestly think it's an experience everyone needs to eat because it's the best guacamole I've ever had. Our server's name was Gabriel and he gave excellent service

Food was good , but a little pricey for Mexican food. You can find the same quality Mexican food at the local neighbirhood restaurant. The restaurant itself was very nice with a great vibe. Our wait staff was great.

Ate there yesterday night and through up all nigh, huge fever all next morning. Can’t wait to be tomorrow..Not sure what people do in the kitchen but it’s sounds awful and do not respect health department guidelines. Will call them to make sure no one else is in my situation!Got steak faritas and ahi tuna ceviche.I Called them to explain everything and they were not able to help, pretty sadly unprofessional as a restaurant business owner to think they would not even do any thing.Will never go back!

Servers/waiters are friendly and come by periodically to give you water and check in on you. Alcoholic drinks take a while to come out. Atmosphere is nice, food looks great but taste average in my opinion.

Been shagging rich cougars straight from the source at crystal cove since the pre-pandemic days. This establishment holds a unique place in my heart and has its place in OC / SoCal culture so we must show respect to Señor Javier and his loyal army. Now, that being said I've always been conflicted on judging the taste, quality and selection of items since I'm an authentic and honest Mexican originally from Baja California (like Javier himself) The place is always pleasant and it's an incredibly successful moneyy $$$ maker of an establishment. It resonates with the rich whites and for people who don't really understand the depth and beauty that is true authentic Mexican cuisine. The locations are beautiful (especially Irvine after it was renovated and remodeled) the ambience is exquisite, the service is pretty solid and it's a fantastic place for a hot date or to grab some drinks with the homies. And they got that Cartel WiFi on POINT. I cannot as a genuine Baja Californian give this place a 5 but would give it a 4.5 if yelp allowed more accurate and granular review scores / grades. After like 7 years of refusing to review this joint on yelp I finally did it so get off my back yelpers. Oh and the salsa is ridiculously tasty and addictive. Salud. Dinero. Y Amor putozzzz

Located inside the Irvine spectrum, Javier's is an upscale restaurant and bar that has always been fun, elegant, modern, with a splash of "hipness" The decor is completely nice and intriguing. The food is excellent, but a but pricy, however, the drinks will completely satisfy your taste buds. Now, I would have given this location a 4.5 But my visit only earned it a 3.5 to 3.75. One, the reception area was courteous but not attentive I felt that we were just numbers to them, and waiting 45 min to be seated at around 930pm and after seemed a bit long. Second, I felt that walking through the prep area/ kitchen to be seated was not very professional. However, the layout didn't allow for other paths. Lastly, our server , as nice as she was, seemed a bit distracted, and we felt our service was impersonal . The location is superb for first dates , excellent for get togethers.
