“The inside is totally cool. When we got there, they were busy. They had one dude at the front and woman behind the bar. Turned out she was bartending and serving. She was slammed but totally kicked ass. The buffalo mac balls were hella good and not too spicy. My son had the fig and brie grilled cheese. I had whiskey burger. Daughter had Salmon BLT. Everything was great. Service on point.“
“We love visiting Crosbys when we are in North Tahoe. The food is always so good and the staff are so friendly. We missed the beautiful outdoor seating this time due to weather, but in the summer it's really nice on the patio. A big football game was on while we were there, so of course the tvs were loud. We didn't care about the game, but understood that it is a tavern and that many others did care.“
“A pub of many surprises. Village Pub tends to get pretty busy, yet still maintains an awesome atmosphere with lots of regulars and friendly faces. Still, I was amazed to find that this is some of the most delicious pub food to be found locally.“
“Great vibes, good service and good food. I ordered a stuffed potato with pork. It came out with no meat. They quickly fixed it and were extremely apologetic. Potato and the pulled pork were good. Not a huge fan of the coleslaw. Pickle Fries with the Chipotle Mayo were great! Will definitely give it another try! Price was actually decent compared to other restaurants in town.“
“After I wrote to management, they added several vegetarian and vegan options. I'm not sure if I was the impetus or not (nor does it matter), but I'm so happy to have a tasty and quick dining option at the top of Mount Pluto! TIP: I recommend the $5 tater tots as a side dish, something that is so new that it's not on the menu boards.I also recommend Zephyr Lodge and Big Springs Lodge (at mid-mountain) for varied vegetarian and vegan dining options. If you are in the village, Los Arcos is great for a reasonably-priced burrito.Vegetarian options: Fresh and delicious vegan salads too!“
“Came here looking for a nice easy lunch in a comfortable setting for a dog and a toddler and this fit the bill. The outdoor patio was nice and spacious for our family. It was nice that they had TVs all around to watch the football games. The server was quite friendly and made sure the dog got some water too. We ordered the turkey sliders off of the kids menu, but dang, it was a big portion. Our toddler was super happy with the french fries and had a couple bites of the sliders. It was a portion that would probably make most adults happy. I got the crispy fish sandwich with a side of slaw and was pretty happy with it. It stayed crispy pretty much until the very end, so the last 2 bits or so the tartar sauce had made the batter and bun soggy but it was still delicious. Cole slaw was nothing special, but it was light and tasty and a great complimentary side to the fish sandwich. Cool spot for watching sports and grabbing some good food and a beer.“
