“The power of Yelp! Bobaful is right in the lobby sharing a long counter with Starbucks in the Monterey Park Marriott Courtyard. And that lobby? It's huge and perfect for hanging out with your boba; lots of sofas, comfy chairs, counters and even booths with TVs. I understand they validate parking, but I think it's easier to park across the street (Atlantic Times Square shopping plaza with the AMC Theatre and 24 Hour Fitness -- huge free parking lot below). Under our governor's "Freedom to Walk" act, jaywalking was decriminalized for 2023, so go for it! Bobaful was a busy media darling, long lines at 626 Night Market, but you'll love this brick-and-mortar location. No waiting, super friendly staff, and $3-4 cheaper than other boba places. Sometimes they have a 2-for-1 and the boba really gets flowing. I'm a green tea guy and it's awesome (try the Dragonfruit). The milk teas also get raves and the cup is so nice, you will hate to toss it. Congrats Bobaful. Your shop is a hit!“

Coconut Jelly King 皇阿玛椰子冻 (Arcadia, H Mart) Dessert •
1101 W Huntington Dr, Arcadia

“Never knew a shop like this existed let alone knew what Coconut jelly King was all about. We were visiting the HMART market in Arcadia and noticed the Coconut Jelly King at the Food Court. Judging by their menu they mainly specialize in drinks and jelly made with coconut but they had other items on their menu. We got the Pineapple Coconut Jelly and the double Coconut jelly to try out. They were packed in a dessert jars and refrigerated. To be clear Asian jelly is made with Agar or Arrowroot. It is not Jello which is made with gelatin derived from animals. The Pineapple Coconut Jelly had shredded Pineapple base topped with Coconut Jelly made with slightly sweetened Coconut milk. I like Pineapple I thought it would be my favorite. I liked the Double Coconut Jelly a lot more. The base was a jelly made with Coconut Water and topped with Coconut jelly made with sweetened Coconut Milk. The dessert itself was light and refreshing. The flavors were subtle but it was delicious and turned out to be my favorite. iCYMI, Coconut milk is made from steeping dried Coconut flesh and is usually sweetened for drinks or desserts. It also is used for used as a base for Curries. I just found that they have a location in Lad Vegas so I'll be stopping by soon and try some different flavors. Sorry Yelpers. I totally forgot to take pics.“

“Sunright Tea Studio has became one of my weekly boba stop! Everytime I visit 99 ranch I would go to Sunright for boba! We usually go for a fresh milk tea or Brown Sugar boba milk (with boba) and add an additional cream pudding topping. As a sweet tooth, I would always get 100% sweetness and less ice. Their cream pudding tastes just like those milk pudding you could get from Taiwanese 7-11's !! Additionally, if you are a mango fan, I recommend their frost mango with jasmine tea jelly. You can tell they really put in the effort to make their toppings because the cream pudding is filled with milky flavor and their jasmine tea jelly has the perfect jasmine tea aroma! Not long ago they had a collaboration with Maple Story which came with a super cute cup and the Kiwi Maple Story Collab was pretty good. The balance between sweet and sour was just perfect which made the drink super refreshing. I don't think they have it anymore since I visited again today and they did not have the cute cups nor the special drinks..Give their fresh milk series a try or substitute your milk tea using fresh milk instead of house milk, it is completely a game changer! The one lacking in flavor for me from their fresh milk series would be the creme brulee boba milk. The creme brulee foam is really tasty but was, in my opinion, not strong enough for the whole cup of milk.Parking: Has plenty of parking. Located in the same plaza with 99 Ranch.“

The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. “They are doing a "Boba trail" promotion in Pasadena which got me thinking about trying to hit all the Boba places inside pasadena. This one is across the street from the Target at the corner of Colorado and Lake. I'll get a Boba maybe once or twice a month, usually it's a Sunday afternoon after a trip to the dog park or a rec league soccer game. Couple times a year it'll be a random stop in Orange county instead of a coffee.Boba drinks are alot like espresso drinks, i.e. they are simply either well made or not well made, and there isn't a whole lot of variation beyond that. It's very rare to get a very good OR a very bad Boba. Then there's the question of whether they have food or not. This place had acai bowl type stuff but no hot food.Generally I always get the basic milk tea with Boba the first time at a spot the same way I use a cappuccino to judge whether a coffee place is worth going to more than once. If a Boba place can't make a milk tea with Boba just forget it. This one was good because it wasn't too sweet, the ratio of liquid to ice was good (you shouldn't be left with a bunch of melted ice at the end BUT there should be ice when you are drinking), there wasn't a ton of unconsumed Boba after the liquid was gone.I wouldn't hesitate to come back but I wouldn't say this is the best Boba in Pasadena. What is, I wonder.“

They've all been friendly, so no complaints. I have tried a variety of drinks from here and they're not bad. I think they're just ok. I personally like coming here because their drinks are usually consistent when it comes down to the taste. It really depends on who makes it though. You know what they say, consistency is key, lol. Inflation is real! Drinks here typically cost between 6-7$. There's been a 2$ increase from when they first opened until now. Boba is just getting pricier & pricier w/ time. Sad, lol. “Great service, milk tea & boba! Would recommend if you’re in the area looking for boba. I got a banana milk tea, which also had fresh chunks. It wasn’t too sweet, and the blend of the tea and bananas went well together, nothing too overpowering. Which is different from what the other reviews say, I went on a Tuesday afternoon. Maybe it just depends who’s making the drinks. But with that being said maybe there could be some work on making all the baristas consistent with the drink, or have them ask what sweetness level they’d prefer. I always ask for 75% sweetened. Which a lot of boba places will ask.Service was great and efficient, ambiance was cute and you get to take home a sweet glass cup too!For those reviews that say this place is pricey, coming from the Bay Area these boba prices seem “normal” relative to a big California city.“

“This was my 1st time trying Yi Fang & I would definitely come back. They have a variety of teas to choose from & few non caffeinated options. I ordered the strawberry latte & original pancakes. When ordering my drink they offered non-dairy options too. Their specialty is the fruit teas. Also tried the egg pancakes which were in the shape of boba which was cute & delicious. The drinks do take a bit of time to make since everything is done fresh. The shop is small & clean. Can't wait to try some of their other options.“

Railroad Pork Chop Noodles

“Was surprised I hadn't come across this restaurant in my time in the SGV. They're prob one of the most economical places to dine right now in terms of their prices and portions. I like that you can choose between rice or noodle soup when it comes tot heir entrees. I like them because they give a big portion of food but also veggies and they're not overly salty like most restaurants are these days. They also have a wide selection of drinks to choose from so overall it's a great spot to add to your rotation. The owners seem like really nice and honest people and was very accommodating to us as guests. They also have plenty of parking outside and seating inside!!“

“Visited this Sunright location over the weekend while I was in Ktown. The interior is modern and clean and I appreciated the warm welcome by the staff. I find myself preferring less sweet drinks nowadays so having the option to adjust sweetness levels is a big plus. I ordered a oolong milk tea 25% sweet with grass jelly and it was terrific, a strong oolong flavor, creamy with a hint of sweetness and a playful texture from the grass jelly. The shop was lively but still got my drink in a few short minutes. Will definitely return whenever I am in the neighborhood.“

“Parking/Wait: There is a very small lot with ~5 spots. Never had problems parking there, and there is also a bunch of street parking.Food/Drinks: Their Earl Grey Milk Tea makes my knees weak. Never tried their food, but they have your typical Taiwanese snacks and more. Boba quality is also pretty good (very qq), but be careful if you want some when they are ~1 hr from closing (always out of boba by then). Ambiance/Service: Nice little shop with a bunch of seating. You can definitely study here since there is free wifi. Service is always fast, and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my drink. Only one or two people working there at a time, so maybe your mileage will vary.Sustainability: Plastic everything but that's pretty standard. Summary: When I'm back home, this is one of the Boba places that I have to go to. I'm a sucker for Earl Grey, and they do it gooood here.“
