“I got the fish sandwich with the upgraded caviar tartar sauce. It came with French fries and Daybird sauce...it was good. I am not sure the caviar is worth the price point. The filet was cooked perfectly and went well with the potato roll. I would definitely eat there again if I lived in the area.“
“This new spot on 8th Street is exactly what we needed. In Downtown, it's difficult to find a spot with fresh food that's delicious and quick. Because this spot is new, there is a bit of a wait for the food but not more than you would expect for food that is being prepared for you on the spot. Everything tastes fresh, not frozen. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. We had a lunch catered for the office. Everyone was pleased and that's sometimes difficult to do when you have 10 people with differing tastes. This means there's one more place where I can grab lunch that's not fried food. My favorite side is their broccoli! I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.“

I was torn between the fried rice and the bulgogi poutine, but I also knew I wanted rice, so I got the kimchi fried rice. My wife and I shared our dishes. The tteokbokki was good, sweet and spicy. The rice cakes were a nice texture. The kimchi fried rice was also solid, but a bit spicy for me.Given how close it is to me, I will definitely come back in the future to try their fried chicken.“

Very bomb food and the seating area is outdoors so especially with COVID going on, it felt very safe to eat at. Employees were great about cleaning the tables as soon as customers got up. Busy on the chicken left the fries cold but still nothing left to take home. The chicken was fresh from the frier as one was bubbling on the table. Teared up one of the breast and juice immediately drip onto the plate. I wore eating clothes every time I go to GUS to refrain from having ruined clothes to regret later. The chicken is the star here--forget about everything else except maybe the gizzards--the chicken is why you come to Dinah's. Having said that prices have really increased here like a lot of other places these days. In four short years, the two piece lunch has gone from $7.65 to $13.60. I don't know about you but that seems a lot higher than the current inflation rate. Not picking on Dinah's, but just making a point.“

The only negative part about this place is the parking. Many different stores in this place and not enough parking spaces. There are one or two handicapped spots too which are always full so try to find a spot even if it’s further away from the store.“

“Honestly, Zanku has always been og. They’ve been a staple before any of the other Armenian/Mediterranean joints….this location has been around a long time. The last time I had them their chicken was very dry, it was so bad it took a couple of years for me to come back to this location. I was in the mood for a Lule Kabob so got the #16 combo (chicken and Beef) and the Falafel special which came w 2 falafel, lettuce and tahini (peep the pic) If you are a light eater (like myself) this is enough for 2 portions! The customer service was very good, the place was very busy on a Sunday around 2pm. Small rice portions and I wanted the pickled radish but was given the cucumber salad instead. “Dined in at 2pm on a Friday and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I was greeted by the worker at the register. She asked if I was dining in or take out and I told her "dine in." I was seated and given the menu, plates, utensils, and even pickled radish right away. I took some time to study the menu and both workers checked in to see if I wanted any recommendations. One of the guys was very knowledgeable about the wing sauces and the menu but I didn't get his name. Eventually I gave them my order and I waited about 5 minutes and my food came out one at a time. Cheesling Fries (9/10) - The cheese powder on the fries were amazing! It wasn't too overpowering or too cheesy. The fries were hot and crispy. They even drizzle it in the secret sauce. It was very well balanced together. Rose Ddeok-Bokki (8/10) - The first few bites tasted like it needed more seasoning and flavor. The more I ate it, the better it got. It was not spicy for me and it was a great combination of creamy with a small but of tang. The rice cakes were soft and chewy. It was also very delicious overall.Secret Sauce Wings (8.5/10) - The chicken wings were very fresh. The batter was still crispy and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and sticky. It reminded me of my favorite childhood Chinese dish, Peking Pork Chop or sweet and sour pork chop. It did get soggy once the wings sat too long. Soy Garlic Wings (7.5/10) - The soy flavor overpowered the garlic in these wings but overall a really solid choice. The wings were also hot and crispy with a sweet and salty sauce. Overall, the food is 8/10. The service was 10/10. They checked in with me at least every 10-15 minutes. They gave me napkins without asking for it. I had a very pleasant experience!“

I usually am pretty squeamish in regards to eating around the bones, cartilage, etc, but this chicken (and the 32 spices seasoning) had me going to town. Absolutely addicting. I've passed through this place numerous of times and never had the time to stop in. Well today I'm glad I was lazy to cook and remembered about El Pollo Pio Pio. Their chicken has nothing on El Pollo Loco nor Sevans Chicken. Its full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I purchased the family special that consists of 2 whole chickens, 4 sides (rice, beans & coleslaw), HANDMADE tortillas and a salsa! Ok so for all this it was less than you would pay at any other places. I'm not a big fan of coleslaw but this one was delish, their salsa was a little salty for my liking but definitely had all the flavors going. The rice and beans were also great in flavor. Overall I would rate this place a 9 out of 10. I think if they added avocado to their family special it would be all so much tasty and a 10 from me! But then again I love avocado with everything ? if you haven't already tried this place its a definite must. I will definitely be coming back!“

“My first visit to this location. They ran out of menus, cups, and didn't have any desserts. I decided to try the chicken chili cheese fries. On the menu he had the option to add cut pieces of chicken on top for an additional fee. I opt out of the chicken on top just wanted chili and cheese. When my food arrived they put the chicken on top instead of sending it back I just tried it. The fries where okay I removed the chicken off the top because it just didn't taste right to me. I would have to try them again with extra cheese because they where sort of skimpy with the cheese. Their sunset drink is good though. No refills on specialty drinks so be prepared to pay.“

Since it had been awhile I couldn't remember what I ordered & was leaning towards the Seoul Spicy but glad I asked the cashier for their input.
