“Best meat, drinks and service! Honestly the best kbbq I've had, I make the trek over from DTLA just to eat here. The employees are extremely attentive and generous. They kindly refilled my favourite side dishes multiple times without hesitation. I wasn't sure which beer to get and they gave me the perfect recommendation. Despite the restaurant being full, the ambiance is still decently quiet and relaxing. I can't recommend this place enough!!!“

“After eating here for the first time, I told my brother (who I ate with) this is definitely the spot to bring the parents. A couple months later, we brought mom and dad. Enough said. Service and quality of food were really good. Highlights include marinated prime short rib, aged prime tenderloin, steamed egg, and Korean chimichurri sauce.“

“This place was awesome. First of all, Lena our waitress was so kind and willing to explain the menu to us as this was our first time. The food was delicious, I recommend getting a combo so you can try many different things. Not only was the food good but the experience was amazing as well. Lena cooked the meats on front of us (she cooked them perfectly) and you could add seasonings and sauces. Additionally, the sides are brought by ROBOTS. My little sister loved this and couldn't stop giggling every time a robot came by and dropped of some kimchi which was free with the combo. 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be coming back soon! Thank you Lena!“

“One of the best Korean barbecues in LA the meat is great quality. There could be a little bit of weight because they don’t take reservations, but it’s totally worth it. you can get a drink while you wait for your table. We always go in groups and get the beef combo that comes with a soup. The Wagyu is also really great.Parking: Depending on time of day, you might find street parking with meters or free street parking. the plaza also has limited parking spots.“

“Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“

“We came here at around 8 o'clock on a Wednesday night, and we still had to queue up. The most exaggerating thing is that after we almost finished eating, it was already around 10 o'clock, and there was still a queue outside. This is enough to prove the popularity of this restaurant, and it turns out that it is really tasty. The quality of the beef here is really good, definitely not the ordinary AYCE, there are many choices, very tender and flavorful. My favorite is their marinated short rib, and brisket, must order! Another feature here is that the pot is made of stone instead of the traditional iron plate. It feels better to be heated and the roasted beef is also very tender.“

“This place was amazing for an inexperienced KBBQ'er. It was me and my partner (Chinese and White). The staff were so friendly and helped explain what dishes were and how to eat them. They also cooked the meat and sides for us so we didnt have to stress over that part for our first time. The owner ended up serving us due to the flow of people and Chris/Kris was amazing. She let us try the house made Lemon Soju and really solidified that we would be coming back. Our other server was amazing and she took care of us majority of the night, I didnt catch her name but I also forgot my card there and she caught up to me like half a block to give it back. So sweet and above and beyond. We got a plate of Brisket and Bulgogi with two Soju bottles peach and strawberry. The house lemon one was my favorite though and we will be getting it next time we go.We street parked and payed $1.25 until 8pm hit and didnt have to pay anymore.“

The food is cooked by your server, and they will ask you how you want your meat cooked. The side dishes are delicious. My favorite is the sauce they give you for the BBQ. “So for it being my first time there it was all delicious and waitress was perfect, the service was amazing overall, I would give it a 5 stars but because we had a horrible bill complication. Just if you pay cash make sure you count the money together that you give to your waitress there on the spot before she walks away. Because today we over paid $100 hundred dollars. My bill was $513.27 and ended up paying $613.27 A total for a party of 10 We didn't not get a refund We still paid for parking because parking is 15 dollars. Mike the manger said we can come back and maybe redeem the lost $100. But not sure if I even want to!“

“Family’s (Korean) consensus rating was five stars ✨! First off the service was great. We were there early and owner sat us down and even told us to start eating if we wanted to. Note, they have special pricing starting at 7:30pm, but that wasn’t an issue. Not used to that, especially at AYCE restaurant. They also came by and cooked some of the meats for us and changed grills often. Again, not used to that from AYCE.Second was the quality of the meat. The Kalbi was tasty and fresh. The size of the shrimp too! There really wasn’t a bad dish we tried and for $35pp after 7:30pm, we thought it was a really great deal.Place is a bit worn, but we weren’t there for the decor. We just wanted a variety of good Korean dishes and were not disappointed!“

“Me and my partner live close by so we decided to stop by on a Wednesday night. It was pretty empty, only 2-3 other groups. The restaurant felt a lot more homey compared to other KBBQ. It felt like a lowkey spot where close friends can get together and reminisce on fond memories together. We liked it a lot. We really enjoyed the side dishes - especially the salad and the cooked meat. We ordered the AYCE Set A. Price was very reasonable. Definitely not the best we've had but still good. I love steamed egg so I had to order and had no regrets. Service was good too. I will mention the smoke is a bit more on the heavy side which we didn't love as it starts to smell burnt.“

“Specializing in Korean lunch boxes, raw fish rice bowl, bean noodles, rice cake dumpling soup, squid somen, etc. A popular place for lunch and catering for office workers in nearby offices. Overall, it is delicious and the portions are good.Hwaedupbap (sushi rice) - personally it’s best menu (huge portion) diced raw sushi (salmon & tuna) with gochujang topping on the rice, overall very delicious and large portion food for the whole family to share. Also if you like spicy Korean mixed bibim noodle like Jjolmyun, I recommend trying Ojingo Somyun the spicy squid noodle, very delicious ?Seems like a lot of people have menus for take out / to-go / delivery from Koreatown & the offices nearby (talked to the very kind sajangnim owner lady, very confident of her menu - using fresh ingredients & the taste)Highly recommended this place for office workers who work nearby. “In a sea of A5, wagyu, kobe style bbq places opening up these days, come along the higher-end prices and memberships. It seems like a good KBBQ these days costs an average of $60+/pp = :/I won't say TK92 is bad quality or bottom of the barrel but I very much appreciate they are not forcibly up-selling you on all these much higher price meats, especially if I'm not on the hunt for them. The meats were still great here, I was satisfied and full. One thing I'll say is that many of the nonmeat dishes were better quality than I've had at other restaurants, even ones that specialize in them. I know you're not supposed to fill up on the carbs, but the Jjolmyeon (spicy cold noodles) was so good here. Great presence with the spice and sweetness as well as the chew from the noodles. This with some freshly grilled meat was the best bite. Another noteworthy nonmeat dish was the Japchae. I was let down spicy rice cake was on the menu but they didn't actually have it. I'm not sure if they just didn't have it that night, or if it's just completely off the menu.I do like how the banchans were already at the table when we sat down so we could get started on them right away. One fault of this though was items that should be hot were no longer hot, such as the pancake & Japchae. I was surprised there was no kimchi, so we asked for some and it seems they don't readily have it at the table like the other banchan. There are 2 tiers, the cheaper one $36.99 while the other is $39.99. With the higher tier, I think the only difference is you get 3 other meat selections with one of them being the Premium Marinated Beef Short Rib (only one order per person). This was the most tender meat I had. None of the meats left me dissatisfied and with that, I go back to the much higher priced AYCE (more premium) places you can find in the greater LA area. I'm not a butcher, and the meats are already good here, so I have a hard time justifying the more premium cuts. Yes they might be more tender (sometimes not), better marbling. But I don't see that much of a difference.Service was great here and I never had to hunt sometime down to get a grill change or order meats. You can only order 3 meats each round just FYI, but it wasn't an issue. It seems they don't do any type of dessert for bdays, but instead comped a bottle of soju which I think is even better. It's more spacious here than even I knew and I think that's because of the really high ceilings. Tables appear to be spaced apart fairly well so it did not feel too cramped even though it was busy when I went. There is a comic/anime/retro aesthetic to the place that is pretty cool. There is a fairly sized waiting area that I feel as though could be its own separate bar area and perhaps was one at a time. There is a parking lot with narrow spots which are sometimes hard to find because it fills up fast.If you are looking for some KBBQ in the area and don't want to break the bank you should check out TK92.Cheers!“
