“Let Me start off by saying I'm gonna be most likely bias about diz spot since it's own by my family, 2 be exact by my aunt and her husband, but the truck is run by my cousins on the time it operates.Let me start off by what it's probably my favorite as well as what their specialty and what they are known by, that is their tacos de costilla. Every had 1? Nope, then take Ur self over n experience what you taste buds been messing, whether it's the full rib tacos or U wanted chop up, it's gonna hit! They also got Asada, Chorizo, Pollo, Lengua, Buche, and Cabeza. I know for a fact theirs salsas are all made everyday fresh just as their chop cebolla n cilantro. As for Me I also gotta have my beans with my asada tacos or chorizo. The tacos are bomb no matter what choice of meat U get! Now like I said U don't gotta believe Me cuz like I said in the beginning I'm ma be bias about it, but do Ur self a favor go stop by n get Ur self some tacos at Tacos LA Esquinita. Service wise they been offering their tacos for probably over 2 decades to the neighborhood n community and they keep coming back. They got loyal customers for years. They definitely doing it right!“
“To whom this may concern I recently received poor customer service from I believe she is a team leader her name is Elizabeth and not only to my self but also with the employees I don't think Elizabeth has what it takes to be someone in charge she needs to learn how to speak to her team I would not recommend this location to anyone cause I wouldn't want them to go through what I went through thank you for your time“
“Figured I would write a review after eating here multiple times a week for a couple years. These are the best tacos in Los Angeles. Always high quality and always delicious. The staff is always excellent and everything is always positive. Wishing them all nothing but the best!“
“Amazing! I just moved to LA toHighland park, and I remember driving by this place and there was this looooooong line of people. So I figured I had to try it one day.Wow.I’ve been there a few times and haven’t reviewed it, so it’s about time.Tonight I went and got a chicken quesadilla (corn tortilla) and 2 queso tacos with Al Pastor.?First, they PACK it with meat. I always over order. Every. Single. Time. I should’ve just gotten the quesadilla or maybe, MAYBE one taco. Now I’m in a food coma. ?The food was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. If I could give them 6 stars I wouldn’t. I’ve been to a few other tacos spots i the area…. None of them compare.Quesadilla (corn tortilla) - $9Queso tacos - $3.50 eachCan’t go wrong with these prices either. Great price and delicious food.I’ll be back for my next cheat meal ! ?????Next time I’m trying the loaded baked potato !! Heard it’s incredible !Parking: It’s right in front of target. Park in there and walk around.“
“Best fish tacos on the east side. Could eat them once a week. Made to order from a taco truck so sometimes you have to wait a bit. Wish they were there later but great for an early dinner or lunch. My favorite is the recommended shrimp and cheese one and soft shell crab“
“I ate here for the first time today I had a burrito and my friend had a quesadilla. The food was delicious it had that real authentic Mexican taste &’ and you get a good portion for the price you pay they have good salsas overall everything was amazing. Their customer service was astonishing they made me feel at home super friendly staff they go above and beyond for their customers I will recommend this place to people from now on I can’t wait to come back :) such a hidden gem in LA best of all it’s Latinx-owned!“

“I came to La for the weekend and was looking for a taco spot to eat. The family and I tried taco guelaguetza and it was delicious and the workers were nice. I bought 22 tacos and 3 large horchatas and 3 medium horchatas for under $60 and they don't charge extra for special meats like cabeza or Lengua like the sf Bay Area. I was very happy and we will definitely be back every time going to La“
“Quick and fast taco stands. Now they support the credit card payment. Eric is welcoming and serves the neighborhood very well until the midnight. The protein of stewed pork and the al pastor is nice while I hope they could use corn tortillas instead of the flour ones.“
“Found this little eatery which served Mexican food. Looked like a family run business. Their tacos were so good and tasty. Burritos too hot and fresh!! Nice little place to eat and hang out. Just by the street. I wanted the sour cream and Chipotle sauce off my taco. The lady happily obliged to the request. Definitely recommend them.“
“Without a doubt the best lunch truck in Cali!! Being a truck driver who has been coming to Cali for 30 years and have visted lunch trucks thru out the state makes me an authority on the subject. So you can believe me when I say they're the best. I've eaten here for over a decade and have never been disappointed once. The team that operates it are also the best. Give it a try. You will definitely not go anywhere else again if you do.“
“let me tell keep this description short and straight up: fresh handmade corn tortillas, homestyle braised meat, everything you're looking for in a taco There was free parking (a plus) and the service was super FAST! we didn't wait for more than 5 minutes for our food. there's seating indoor and outdoor. The patio was really nice to sit and eat at because they had heaters and it's entirely covered and shaded. Here's what we ordered: -the OG sampler ($10.49) - includes 6 mini tacos of steak picado, bistek en salsa roja, tinga de pollo, mole poblano, chicarron, & cochinita pibil -tinga de pollo (normal sized $3.79) -cochinita pibil (normal sized $3.79) - we got this with a medium spice level but this was SPICY!! I am someone with pretty high spice tolerance and the spice on this got me“
“Was in the area and seen the amazing reviews! Definitely worth a visit perfect bite size tacos with breakfast options, I got the Guadalupe to go with a glass bottle of coke definitely would visit again and love to try something different. Definitely try and beat the morning rush it is no joke. Small inside the location but definitely worth it!“
“Good tacos. Quick service. I tried a variety of their meat options. Was not crazy about the chicharrón but it could be that I prefer chicharrón tacos to have the fried chicharrón, and not the stewed (soft) variety. Overall if you are craving tacos, it is late and you are in the area, this place will not disappoint.“
“Great spot to go with friends for lunch or to take the kids on the weekend. They have a great front patio and full bar, a back room with TVs and games for kids and a back patio that's more private. I've never hosted an event here, but seems like a great spot for a birthday party with friends on a Saturday or Sunday - Margs and tacos and lots of space for socializing. Also very kid friendly! They have a great kids menu with options for picky eaters, frozen lemonade etc. Recommend the mexi cali taco and the Philly cheese steak! So good!“
“i never leave reviews but this has been so wonderful i had to!! all the staff went out of their way to welcome me in. The patio was adorable. The food came out so quickly, and was delicious (and i moved here from texas!) highly recommend :)“
“Daaaaang! This food was delicious! We stopped by after a long hike, purchased the OG Plate which has mostly everything they serve. And devoured it! The consome was awesome as well! Dip everything in it!? Then we washed it down with a refreshing hibiscus drink! Will be back for the burrito!“
“First time trying this place. The Carne en su jugo was by far my favorite!!!! I feel like the kids menu could contain a few more options, but other than that it was really good! The café de olla was also amazing!!!! Would definitely recommend!!!!“
“I love to come to this taco stand; the service is always prompt and the owners are very kind. The food is absolutely incredible and they usually have an Agua Fresca (horchata most of the time) and it's always delicious as well. They accept cash or zelle!“
“Went to the truck on West Sunset Blvd AND WOW. 10000 stars. This is one of the best tacos I've ever had. The flour tortilla is top notch. We had the asada tacos and they were delicious. I'd drive hours for these. Totally worth a trek if you don't live nearby.“
“Once you've tried their tacos, you'll be back. We can't get enough of their food. Every time we have visitors in town we bring them here and they leave craving more. (as do we!) These guys have mastered the art of cooking all the different meat options they provide. You can also get burritos, and quesadillas. This taco stand is by far one of the best I've ever been to. A must try!“
“Tacos are delicious. Love the options they have. I will suggest getting the sampler order to see which tacos you like the most. All their tacos are really good, but my favorite is chicharron, bistek en salsa roja, calabacitas, and chile relleno. The agua fresca de melon is really good, too. Don't forget to request salsa on the side. It is really good and spicy.“
“I can’t say enough nice things about Teddy and Teddy’s. The food is deliciously fresh and bursts with flavor. Teddy always remembers our daughter when she visits from Boston and welcomes her. Go. You’ll be so happy you did. And do get a red mulita.“
“I had the taco pastor with like a cheesy taco shell onion, cilantro, the works. It was absolutely the best taco I have ever had in my life. They were $3.00 each and worth every single coin. I was off my diet for one day and wanted tacos. Now I am thinking to extend my day off to two days. I bought three tacos and they were so meaty. And the owner was super kind and soft spoken. It is 5am and I wish I had of purchased 10 tacos. They were just that good.“
“The food was tasty although the protein portions were small and overpriced for the value- 4 stars. However, my 5 stars is for Lawrence. He provided great service with a genuinely happy attitude. He was friendly and quick to act. I saw him be this way with everyone. He is a GREAT asset to the team!! Thank you, Lawrence!“
“¡En primer lugar, Jairo es el mejor que hay, un hombre muy agradable y un gran servicio al cliente! ¡En segundo lugar, empecemos diciendo los mejores tacos de la historia! No voy a ningún otro lugar aparte de mis tacos de Leo tan buenos como si tuviera antojo de algunos ahora mismo. Me encanta este lugar, lo recomendaría 5/5The atmosphere is dope too not to spooky great spot to get tacos safely“
“We've dined here many times and of course, I already knew this restaurant was a five-star restaurant because the food has been fresh and made to order and always came out great and tasty; but today, my five stars goes to John and his team for such excellent service, very accommodating and being patient with us and not rushing us, because we were their last customers to dine. They were friendly and helpful with what we needed. And I was telling John, that this evening, by far, was the best service we've ever had at this restaurant. Thank you to John and his team for offering excellent service!!“
“I must say, I dont eat birria tacos that much, but this was fantastic. Came here on a Saturday night and there was a line. If theres a line, you have to assume that its pretty decent. Since we were out in the area, we really wanted Chinese food, but this place just kept on calling our name. We got the tacos with cheese and the consume on the side. The tacos were so juicy and flavorful an the cheese was just oozing out of the tacos. The consume was salty and almost like a beef broth. 3 tacos were definitely a decent amount since we also ordered other food from a different restaurant. Like all food trucks, there is no where to sit unless its the sidewalk. They also have a variety of other options like burritos, tortas, and quesadillas if tacos arent your thing. Staff was friendly and everything was made hot and quick. It was so hot that my food was still steaming. Would definitely come back again!“
“High quality meats. Delicious sauces. Friendly service. Plenty of area to hang out. Of all the taco trucks I've tried in the LA area, this has to be in my top 5. The quality is top-notch. For one thing, the beef tongue was a GIGANTIC portion. A little unreal to be honest.“
“Phenomenal!! The burritos have the perfect ratio of meat to beans/rice. Genius portions of Avocado comes in the burrito at no additional charge. The tortillas are handmade and perfection. They're so fluffy and soft they almost taste like tamale texture. The carne asada street tacos are delicious. They have a table with togo ramekins where you can load up on several different homemade salsas/sauces and garnishes. I highly recommend the avocado tomatillo cream sauce! Coming from near the border of Mexico in Texas, I'm picky about my Mexican cuisine as I know what traditional should be, and this spot checks all the boxes!“
“Nice street stall! Very economical! We ordered the chicken and asada tacos. We ordered 4 and then we ordered 3 more because they were so good. Ideal for after visiting the Griffith Observatory as they are open late and it is well on the way to the center. The guys who serve are friendly.“
“Probably in my top 3 breakfast burritos in LA if not my favorite. Almost a literal hole in the wall spot you order from along the busy street in Atwater Village. No seating - just take out. You order from the window and grab it when it's ready. Can't remember if I started coming here before or after Bourdain made it famous, but I'm not a gatekeeper and I'm happy for any fame or business this place received as a result. My go to is the papas and steak breakfast burrito. I ask to add spinach. As of 11/23 the price of this comes to $7. Super reasonable. I love the salsa here. Spicy and makes me sweat but such a great smoky flavor. So delicious. There was a time in my life I used almost get a burrito here every week - whether it was the morning after hanging out with my friends living in Silverlake or the time period in my life when I lived in Silverlake myself. So many great memories tied to this place for me. Parking can be a little tough depending when you go. There's lots of metered parking or you may have to park a bit away and walk here.“
“What an unexpected delightful surprise! So glad my better half and I came here for dinner. Went to Dollar Tree to pick up some holiday decorations for work. All that browsing through Dollar Tree made us hungry. So pretty much our decisions as we exited the Dollar Tree parking lot were El Pollo Loco, Taco Bell or this place, Birria Masters. We decided we wanted to try something new and went with Birria Masters. We are so glad that we did. So here's the rundown: For ambiance, it's a food stand in a parking lot. Unpretentious, simple tables and benches. Does its job. Don't let it's appearance deter you from going. For service, there were three gentlemen. All were nice and inviting. Excellent customer service. We ordered the enchiladas queretanas and taquitos dorados. Food presentation and taste was unexpected. Both dishes were beautiful. What got me with the dishes is that they were elevated but in an understated way. They used microgreen sprouts. I love sprouts and if a place uses them in their plating, in my opinion, they are fancy fancy and they know what they are doing. The taste of both dishes were delicious as well. The meat was seasoned and cooked well. The produce they use was fresh and again, they used microgreen sprouts. I don't know any other food/taco stand that uses microgreen sprouts...do you? I don't think so. I think that if you are deciding on a place to go and have dinner, please give Birria Masters a try. I hope that when you try their food you will be pleasantly surprised as we were. Birria Masters is definitely a diamond in the rough.“
“Great little Cafe with awesome vibes! As soon as me and my large family walked in we were kindly greeted, and offered a table because we wanted to dine in.The food is so fresh and vibrant with amazing flavors. I ordered the asada tacos and wasn't disappointed! If I'm ever in Cali I'll be back! I really enjoyed how they made us feel welcomed amd at home!“
“Finally stopped by this food truck after walking and driving by it for a year or so and I'm glad I did. I'm just sad it took me so long. I had the asada and pollo tacos and they are very yummy. (still eating them as I write this. Lol) I also appreciate the little bag of veggies and the potato they gave me. Not sure if thats usually included, but it was a nice surprise. And the prices are more than fair. Also they two gentlemen working seem really nice. I'm sure I'll be back.“
“Hands down! The best tacos I have ever had! The tortillas are hand made and in all the multiple times I order their asada, there is no gristle! The tacos are filled with tender meat which packs a ton of flavor, not to mention the condiments are just as delicious! Also, try their al pastor and burritos!“
“The birria taco tastes like love and passion even without the salsa. Also enjoyed the freshly made salsas with the chips. My friend enjoyed the chicharron verde taco. Thank you. Can't wait to come again. Would recommend.Kid-friendliness: Others dined in with their kids.“
“Amazing food! Everything is really well seasoned & the hand pressed tortillas are exactly the perfect texture & flavor! They could make a chancla taco & I'd order 3 no questions asked. Service is always great & friendly! Javier & the team really help bring great ambience wherever they're posted up!“
“This is a good-enough burger joint with reasonable prices to make it worth patronizing. It's one of those "burger shack" places that has sit-down tables inside, but you order at a counter instead of there being waitpeople. But they will bring your food to your table instead of calling a number and making you walk over to get it. It's also one of those places that is staffed by Hispanics and serves Mexican food as well as American fast food. The workers were nice, especially the lady who brought my food to me. I ordered a burger combo plus a side, so I could try both their fries and their onion rings. The best thing was the onion rings. The batter was thick enough that the entire ring was coated with crust, and the crust was crispy. Most important, they weren't greasy at all. They were really good. 2nd-best were the fries; I'm not sure whether they were hand-cut (probably not), but among frozen fries, they were still good. The burger was decent enough; the meat was not poor grade, but wasn't up to the higher level of Fatburger or Five Guys or Shake Shack. They would have to raise their prices if they used a higher grade of beef, but I think they should consider doing so, because they would get a lot more customers who might otherwise eat at one of those other places. One unfortunate little drawback is the chairs that go with the tables; they're that odd metal type that have the weird narrow back-construct that cuts into your rear-end or the back part of your thighs, so they're not comfortable to sit in. They should replace those uncomfortable metal chairs with something that's much more comfortable. That would make people want to stay longer and want to come back more. This place is good enough, but it could be even better.“
“My absolute FAVE taco spot in all of LA. Their carne asada is SUPREME. Their al pastor is pretty good, but the carne asada is life-changing. I've tried the other meats, even the Buche and Saudero (I think that's the right word...?), so don't bother - just do al pastor and carne asada. The tacos are small so just order that extra carne asada. It's a cash-only place, and the Vons has ATMs if needed. The workers understand English, and they're all super friendly. The salsa station is always stocked. Be prepared to eat on the trunk of your car - it's totally part of the experience.“
“I live in Los Feliz and these are the closest, most authentic street tacos near me. Leo's Tacos has quite a few location and this is the Hollywood one. Their menu has a lot of options but I come for the al pastor and it is amazing! Perfect flavor and love the pineapple. I forgot the price but it was very reasonable. There usually is a line at this place even late at night... a good sign that it's good! I definitely recommend this place for the al pastor tacos and I look forward to coming back and trying more things.“
“We’ve been here multipleTimes and each time we leave we are so satisfied. The drinks are amazing, the food is amazing, the staff is so welcoming. I am a huge taco lover and we drive 1.5 hours just to come here. You will not be disappointed.“
“There are a few Paco's, but this one is the best. We have been so many times and every time it is great. It can get crowded, very crowded, and I don't know if they take reservations so call them or go during off hours. They are open for lunch and dinner. Parking is on the street or their small lot. Look for a place on the street, but mind the signs. It is cute outside, and inside is always decorated with something. It is not beautiful, it is adorable with comfortable booths and tables. They have a full bar and their tortillas are always hand made for you. They are the best. Get them. Put butter on them. Eat them. The service is great. They are fast and at the same time super friendly and kind. They speak both English and Spanish. It is the best way to celebrate something. We came for our grandson's Birthday and they gave him flan and the women sang Happy Birthday to him. He loved it. He picked out this place for his Birthday dinner. He was treated so great by everyone. But he always is. This is just a super nice place to go to and relax. They also have a TV, but I never watch it, I assume it is sports. The food is great, all of it. We had chips and guacamole which was so good. We then ordered a combination plate with rice and beans (YUM) and chicken and cheese enchiladas. We also had their great soft beef tacos and a salad and the best Tostada. It is a full meal, my daughter had to take some home. We had flan and great virgin drinks. You will love this place. It is a must stop in Los Angeles.“
“Speedy service, great prices, phenomenal burritos that'll keep you full for a long time. You can tell it's popular amongst locals because of all the work trucks in the parking lot at lunch. The VARIETY of meats you can get on the burrito is also unmatched, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to get out of their comfort zone and go for a cabeza (beef head) burrito. I was blown away.“
“Mom and Pop store. They gave food to order. Great conversation while you wait, hopefully your not in a rush. The Chicharron is so good. Sold by the pound but can get half. NY daughter absolutely loved the sopes. The tortas are also very good. They have tables in the back. Small liquor store items sold here.“
“My first food truck, I didn't know I was going to a food truck! The food was prepared fresh as my daughter and I watched them! My daughter order the Birrira Ramon and I two tacos, they both were very good and the service was great. The price was reasonable and had a nice lunch there on the sidewalk, couple chairs and a little table clean! We enjoyed ourselves.“
“This place was delish and so amazing! I wanted to visited this place and one day out at the walk of fame I decided to make a trip here. The price for the food shocked me and the quality and quantity was the best you can possibly get here. Nice fresh product and great customer service from the team here. The tacos are huge here! And you get nice customization opinions as well. I shall definitely be back here when I have the chance to.Kid-friendliness: Very nice place to visit.“
“Best spot in the area, their meats are juicy and flavorful especially their Al pastor, and Tripa! AND their Supreme Fries too!Parking: Parking is shared with the car wash and entering and exiting the parking can be tricky at times, drive safe around here!“
“Love North Shores burgers , the food is always fresh and the burgers are made with good quality prime beef . Love their sweet potato fries with ranch on the side. The service is always amazing , always kind and attentive. They are always usually busy yet really speedy , a great place to grab a meal before a movie . I don't know ... whenever I eat here it takes me back to Maui with the really chill vibe.“
