“We happened upon this delicious little gem, in Montrose, after viewing the immersive Van Gogh exhibit in Hollywood. Incredibly… the decor was all Van Gogh art prints! Perfectly in tun with our afternoon. The French owner is an absolute delight. We ordered a Moroccan chicken dish and beef bourguignon. The portions were very hearty and absolutely delicious. We also upgraded our dinner to include salad and a lovely blueberry tart for dessert. The entire experience was memorable! We’ll definitely be back and bringing friends!”

“I just had the most delicious Armenian BBQ and Ikebir, honestly, it blew me away! The flavors were so fresh and rich, everything was super clean and perfectly prepared. “This is our favorite spot to dine in if we are craving sushi and rolls 🍱 it’s always always always fresh, the fish is shining when they bring it in. And when I say always, I mean we dine in here once or twice a week. The staff is so friendly. We have never been disappointed and honestly haven’t liked sushi or rolls anywhere else as much as we do it at Sushi Monster. We have tried almost the entire menu and everything is so good. It’s very affordable and the atmosphere is very friendly and warm. We usually get the hot green tea 🍵 which they refill as much as you want. The green tea ice cream is great too.”

“House of Joy has quickly become one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — friendly smiles, fast seating, and attentive service throughout the meal. You can tell they truly care about their customers.

Every dish was packed with flavor and came out piping hot. The dim sum was especially impressive — fresh, perfectly cooked, and not greasy at all. The Peking duck and salt-and-pepper shrimp were standouts, but honestly, everything we tried was delicious. Portions are generous and prices are very fair for the quality you get.

What really sets House of Joy apart, though, is the level of service. Our tea cups were never empty, plates were cleared promptly, and the servers checked in just enough without ever being intrusive. It felt like dining at a place that truly values its guests.

Whether you’re coming for family dinner, a casual lunch, or a special occasion, House of Joy is a gem. Highly recommend — can’t wait to come back”

“Hidden gem fire a quick, affordable bite. Mushroom chicken-Big plump pieces of mushroom, snappy zucchini, crunchy, juicy, just-cooked sliced onion, nice raw onion flavor. Curry chicken- not over powering curry flavor, just an itty bitty kick, the potatoes are cooked all the way through and the carrots are soft and sweet which tells me this curry was left to simmer to meld all the flavors. Yes I came in very hungry but for a typical buffet-tray-under-a-lamp place, it is definitely better than average. A two item combo with plenty of chow mein with sliced cabbage was $10.50 before tax. I brought home a medium sized a la carte chicken with mushroom entree, less than $10 with tax. Bring cash if you can, $15 minimum for card purchase. Oh, and the owners were not only super nice but they seemed really grateful for each customer.”

“I recently had lunch at Baja Fresh and had a fantastic experience! I ordered my go-to, the Baja chicken burrito with a side of delicious Cholula salsa. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. It was one of my favorite lunches in a long time - I highly recommend it!”

“Went here on a Wednesday and got two sandwiches to go and the counter girl was so fast and so informative on the sandwiches.. even while she was making the sandwiches she was multitasking. Very impressed since I'm in the food industry as well. I left her a tip and complemented her service. Sandwiches were delish.”

“The Korean side dishes are very good. I usually am not a big fan of kimchi, but theirs is fantastic. Soups are amazing bbq is also so so good. They prepare the BBQ not a self cook. Portions seemed generous as well. Though a smaller restaurant in strip mall decor is very nice.”

“Dear Le Bon Patissier owners and bakers!It’s hard to get a good tasting dessert or pastry in the US. Most of them are not worth the calories one consumes. We get these Walnut rolls in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the local specialty store and they are fantastic!!!I look forward to eating one of these every day in the afternoon and it makes my day !!
