“One of THE BEST spots in Silver Lake/LA BY FAR! There is nothing quite like Mashti’s. Not only do they have flavors for everyone, but their flavors are beyond delicious and interesting. Also, I have to applaud the excellent service. The blonde female worker (I believe her name is Hadley) is especially friendly and kind. Always the best at Mashti’s!“
“Cookies like no other! I love the excitement of checking the weekly menu every Sunday and seeing the big reveal. I went to the location in Cerritos for the first time while my car was being serviced and have been back at least 3 times. So satisfying!! Waiting to see what’s available next week!“
“Woooooow! The food is A+mazing! The first time I came here I ate the food so fast I didn't get a chance to leave a review. I came back again because I like their sweets. Last time, I had ice cream and their Ashta, and it was perfect. This time I tried their crepes and they did not disappint. If you want sweets, then this is the spot to go.The atmosphere was nice, service is great, and the place is well lit.“
“I could wax poetic about this place forever. Their flavors are insane. Plenty of Vegan options. They've got the classics as well as unique, sometimes seasonal flavors that don't taste artificial at all and does gelato justice. You can always expect a new exciting flavor, even if you're a regular. And the workers are always so kind and don't make you feel rushed to decide what you want.Skip the chains on this street (salt & straw, win-dow, mashti's are yuck in comparison) and support a local business! They've been here for 17+ years and are beloved by the locals <3Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegan flavorsDietary restrictions: They have a lot of vegan flavors“
“I've been into hot hot boba as of late and they have hot boba here so I made my way over. I had the L'moon hot Thai coffee which was a good blend of coffee and Thai tea. I have to come back and try their soft serve when it gets warmer.“
“Who knew vegan ice cream could be this good? They have interesting flavors like Pineapple Cake, Twixx, and Bananas Foster on top of a crispy and crunchy gluten free waffle cone. Celiac guests rejoice!! They also sell containers of past flavors. Give this ice cream shop a try.“
“Hands down one of the best Thai snack shop around. I don’t even care if it’s “overpriced” compare to how much it is in Thailand, I get to enjoy my pressed sugary powder milk tablet in the US and that’s all that matters to me.Mid price point because you’ll end up getting a bag full of snacks and it really adds up lol.“
“The service was superb ! Lady making the drinks was so sweet with us and made great conversation. The place is cute with seating upstairs and down, it's a cute little place. The drink omg the drink was made with their homemade vanilla syrup and the chai was just amazing. Every sip and after taste that lingered was something that I wish I could have everyday and every morning. I wish I would've gotten another iced chai before I left. Definitely coming here again for a caffeine pick me up.“
“A cute place to get that sweet tasty treat. You can come in and sample the different flavors they have before you finally decide on the ones you want. The waffle cone is the way to go, get the split scoop you’re gonna want more than one flavor.Staff was great, also awesome to see Filipinos representation and flavors that people get to enjoy.Cultures are meant to be shared and appreciated.Love their fusions and seasonal flavors that change, it keep it fresh and allowing to come back to try something new. This place also has pie hole and pressed juicery inside. They have seating area by the window where you can enjoy your treat and people watch.Lots of stores that you can visit on your visit either before or after.Parking garages are close by just be mindful of the time that passes by either parking isn’t too expensive.Dietary restrictions: The have vegan optionsParking: Parking garages in different spots and easy to walk to.It’s for 2 hr parking, pay at the machine, they sometimes have workers there to assist if you get stuck or forget to pay before you exit. There is also metered parkingKid-friendliness: Kids will love coming in to taste the different flavors“
“Love this local sandwich shop with a bit of history, amazing staff, and delicious food! Not typically a sandwich person, but this place is definitely working on changing my mind! The tri-tip sandwich, available on Thursday and Friday only, is amazing, nice smoky flavor and melted cheese, works just so well. The Hey Joe sandwich is great any other day of the week if you're a meat lover - pastrami, roast beef, and a hot link! Give them a go and support, my favorite type of restaurant to support, cheers!“
“I always come to drip n roll and do homework here. They have the most comfortable seats and their always so nice and never care how long we stay for homework. They make the best coffee and I come everyday from how much I crave it. I love this place and I hope you guys check it out!“
“Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!“
“Waffle cone was delicious! Freshly made in store. The server was super friendly and helpful, and let us try a lot of different flavors (especially since it's my first time visiting the store). I love the honeycomb, but I ended up getting the strawberry because I already have a pint of honeycomb at home. The strawberry ice cream has a little weird consistency, it's not too creamy but it's delicious.“
“Ice cream + donuts is always a hit! Service here is always fast and friendly! I love their Paramoreo donut with Paramoreo ice cream! (Think Cookie Monster Oreo ice cream) My only complaint is that they don't have as much donut options as their sister shop, Donut Friend. Parking can be kind of tricky as it does get busy on sunset and it's street parking only.“
“Nowadays it's rare to find a place that actually cares about the customers experience and satisfaction. This place is definitely apart from the norm. We ordered 3 shave ice and almost immediately my 3yr old spilled hers. They quickly made her a whole new order at no charge. Then halfway through her ice she had a meltdown because she now wanted "rainbow" colors on hers. They were happy to transform it into rainbow colors again at no charge. It may not seem like a lot but to a parent this speaks volumes. Not only that but the quality of ice and flavors here are legit! Almost as good as back home in HI. Aloha and mahalo to this crew“
“Went 1-15-24. So good. Long line to get in about 7:00 pm on a weekend. The ice cream is worth the wait. They encourage you to try flavors but all of them are good. Person working behind the counter making waffle cones was doing an amazing job. I will definitely be coming back for more. Got a split scoop with two different flavors in a cup to go.“
“I tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was amazing! They are have several different ice cream and frozen yogurt options. Additionally, they are vegan friendly. It's very clean and the customer service was awesome. Ana was very warm and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be going back. ?“
“Its always good for some ice cream, especially if you’re in for trying a new ice cream mixture. Highly recommended it is a staple to the community, and a tradition to go on Sundays for my family . Thanks fosters freeze for the great ice cream and memories!“
“Wanderlust is my absolute favorite ice cream spot! I don't even know how often I come here hahaha! I recently came for the Filipino American History Month flavors (they do this every year) and the Mani Tsokolate was so great, I got a pint of it to take home! Looking forward to all your creations, Wanderlust team!!“
“So many options! Rotating ice cream flavors, pies, ice cream “tacos,” cookies to make into ice cream sandwiches. And all made in-house. The person working there was really genuine and passionate about the shop which made the experience even more pleasant.Only downside is no samples allowed. I had the cookies & cream one and it was a tiny bit icy but good overall.“
“This place has the best vegan soft serve. They also have great regular dairy options, but as someone lactose intolerant I am so grateful for magpies’ wide variety of dairy free options. They always have a fun rotation of flavors and helpful staff.“
“Oh my! This was a recommendation from a local. Best dessert we had while we were in LA. I cannot describe how amazing this was and I don’t even like ice cream! It was such a sweet treat.Dietary restrictions: There were dairy free and gluten free options.“
“I’ve been a fan of Scoops for more than a decade now tracing back to their location in East Hollywood. Of all the delicious homegrown LA ice cream shops (thinking of Afters, Wanderlust, Magpies) and transplants (Jeni’s, McConnell’s, Salt & Straw), Scoops stands out for both its creativity, excellence, and humble local vibes. A recent poll with my wife and kids of our favorite ice cream we’ve ever had, Scoops’ brown bread was first or tied for first for all four of us. If you’ve never had it, it is the one flavor that never changes at Scoops, and it is sheer perfection. The team here is so kind. The samples are generous. The flavors change constantly and explore a wonderful range of flavors. If they are offering their Guinness or sea salt chocolate or pistachio (in any combination), do yourself a favor and get it.“
“A great place to get your Açaí fix! Definitely easy to miss if you're not looking for it so look harder! My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for a long time since we are huge fans of Açaí in all forms. Upon entering, you are presented with a simple menu and the process is seamless. You decide whether you want a bowl or a shake. I went with an Açaí shake - chose oats, Goji berries, peanut butter (don't get this option as it overpowers the Açaí), and other options. It was really good - the perfect amount of thickness and consistency. The bowl on the other hand, was where this place shines. They do not skimp you on anything! They filled the bowl to its brim with Açaí, cacao nibs, oats, fruits, and honey. It was so delicious! The prices here are very fair and we will definitely return for another Açaí fix. Obrigado!“
“WE LOVE MAGPIES!! We got their signature cornflake pie (dairy free, yay) for our wedding and have been going back for a big slice ever since. Also if you order a pie for takeout, they’ll give you freezer packs and an insulated bag. Vegan and non-vegan options aplenty.“
“The parking structure was easy to find. I ordered the cannolis and sfogliatelles both of which were amazing. The sfogliatelles were crispy, and the cannoli shells were crunchy. The orange in the custard/ricotta was flavorful! The cashier was very friendly and prompt with serving me!“
“Fun frozen yogurt shop, with the *widest* array of toppings I've ever seen. Fun vibe, delicious flavors of frozen yogurt, friendly staff. It helped transform (in my kids' minds) a long museum visit we had just finished into a happy memory. A reasonable spoonful of sugar for the win!“
“The ice cream occasions truly delivers one of the best ice cream experiences. The flavors are incredibly rich and decadent, satisfying even the most discerning palates. The texture is perfectly creamy, creating a velvety smooth sensation with every bite. The variety of flavors available is impressive, catering to both classic and adventurous taste preferences. The ice cream occasion is a delightful treat for any ice cream lover.“
“If there’s ANYWHERE in LA that you want to go for the best gelato in town, THIS is the place!Previously on Melrose, but THANKFULLY still here and now located conveniently (for tourists anyways) on Hollywood Blvd. (on the same side of the Dolby Theater & ACROSS the street from Ghiradelli’s - nor a coincidence, I’m sure). Don’t bother with need t any other gelato option in the area.I’ve had mucho gelato in this town and this is the ONLY place that has the best, creamiest, most authentic quality. Even the VEGAN gelato is incredible & would fool any non-vegan. If you learn about their training and history, then you’ll know why their products are SO amazing. Yes, its pricey, but worth it.Mainly a take-out place, but there’s lots of spots at the adjacent mall to sit at(find me on Instagram via @aida.loves )“
“Afters is an ice cream shop that serves various sweet ice cream flavors with a thick ice cream texture. The one that we visited was so strategic as it's located in Hollywood Boulevard. They provide dine-in service. Afters' merchandise is also available here.My friend recommended Cookie Monster, so we had a scoop of it for $5.95. This blue-colored ice cream, just like the color of the Cookie Monster character, is served in a cup. It's a vanilla-based ice cream with Famous Amos cookies, Oreos, and fudge. The taste is sweet, but it still suits my taste buds. It's not overly sweet.Vegetarian options: Vegan Chocolate Chip cookie could be a choice.“
“I think they are permanently closed. Last 2 times we went they were closed and I drove by yesterday and there is a big "For Lease" sign on the building. Too bad because I loved bringing my kids here. Not too many soft serve places out here so, sad to see it go.“
“My husband and I loved this place - the food is super tasty and fun to eat with your hands, it's a chill vibe with cute decorations, quiet and suitable for a relaxed lunch or dinner, and the owner is very nice and welcoming. Honest pricing and quality, we will definitely be back to try some more Ethiopian specialties.“
“Had to make the trip here while on the way back from CicLAvia today after all of my friends kept raving about how good place is, and oh my, I could DEFINATELY see what they meant! The Saffron Rosewater with pistachio ice cream was one classic I was told to try, and oh my it met all of my expectations! Honestly though, despite that it being the #1 seller, I liked the Herbal Snow Sorbet more.Hopefully in a couple of weeks, I get the chance to bring my friend to Mashti Malone's other location in Westwood to try out some other flavors I haven't tried yet!“
“Really fun ice cream place right in the middle of Hollywood Blvd with all the crazy mix of people. People that worked there were super nice and patient since it was our first visit. I got a Nutella Ferrero milkshake while my son got an Oreo cone. They make the cone fresh right in front of you. Both were really good. The vibe inside is fun and bright.“
“Finally got the chance to visit this location of Salt and Straw here in Silverlake. Definitely my number one location now. Kelly helped us taste a bunch of flavors and was incredibly helpful. Can't wait to be back more often to try the monthly flavors. The cereal flavors this month are awesome.“
“Blast from the Past classic experience! My daughter said it was one of the best burgers? she ever ate, the fries were fresh and crispy, the corn dog was devoured and we both absolutely loved the extremely generous portioned chocolate vanilla swirl ice cream cones!?There is plenty of parking and several picnic tables for seating.“
“Had the crema con bananas it was amazing. Recently, I got to taste the mazapan milkshake. It is absolutely delicious. They also have a limited time cheesecake and a strawberry cheesecake milkshake. We got to taste strawberry cheesecake, and it was delicious.“
“Delicious! Best frozen yogurt I've ever had. I ordered a 2nd helping while I was there. I live in Orange county and have been looking for any reason to drive there. Crave it. Wish they had a location in s. Orange county. Even considered opening up one of their stores.... it's that good.Vegetarian options: It's all vegan and delicious“
“What can you say about homemade ice cream! It's the bomb! Coffee ice cream is my favorite! When you're craving real original homemade ice cream. Think no further then Fossellman's since 1919. I enjoyed a double scoop of raspberry and tangerine sherbet ice cream on a sugar cone. Yummy yummy!“
“The froyo is amazing, the people are nice and happy to help, I love it here! Great place to get a treat after school :)Vegetarian options: It’s froyo. It’s vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: There’s usually vegan and dairy free options.Parking: There’s a valet for a stacked parking lot, I don’t know recently but frog customers used to be able to park free…Kid-friendliness: It’s kid-friendly, sometimes they do have on PG movies but nothing too crazy.“
“Came on a Wednesday right when they opened at 12. Took about 10 minutes to get ready, so advise waiting a few minutes before opening time. The place was ok with the exception of a worn-out table. Pomegranate yogurt was very good. You get 5 toppings. For some reason, they had signs for no apple pay. Decent amount of parking.“
“Lovely chocolate shop on North Brand Blvd. that serves some very decadent chocolates that make the perfect gift for any and all occasions. They sell them by individual chocolates and prepackaged boxes, including ones for baby girls and baby boys! They are more on the pricier side admittedly but you can rack up rewards points and you get a free sample from the beautiful display each time. I went for the dark chocolate caramel cup topped with sea salt and it was the perfect, rich flavorful explosion of everything together. The service was really nice by one of the young ladies whose name I didn't catch. Very friendly and accommodating! The store is also very clean and organized. I highly recommend visiting this spot. There is also another location in Pasadena.PARKING:Free on the street“
“Came here to pick up some goods from the too good to go app. Mrs Fields is located outside of Macy's in what I call the "rich wing" since it's by the elevators heading to Bloomingdale's and the higher tier places. Figured I'd put that in here since I didn't know where it was no matter what website i looked at online. The cookies and brownies were really good. Probably shouldn't have ate them all for lunch, but nobody is gonna know... right? Anyway 10/10 experience“
“Unlike other kiths around the world I found the staff here extremely helpful and happy to show you around. Didn’t have a heap of sizes (xl/xxl) but what they did have was better than most stockist I’ve seen at kith stores. Parra selection was a real treat! Shoe selection better than most as well!“
“If you're looking for a more home crafted ice cream with quality cream this is the place for you - their annual Mothers Day Roses ? to die for, and their dynamic sorbet flavors some on the savory side match up perfect with any of the creams in my book - if you haven't had your fall time home crafted ice cream yet, it's time to make ur way to Carmela's - worth the drive!“
“This charming cafe has instantly become my go-to spot for crepes. My favorite one is the banana strawberry and nutella one. The crepes are perfectly thin and beautifully folded, with just the right amount of Nutella and fresh banana, strawberry slices. During my last visit I also tried their Oreo milkshake, and it was beyond delicious. The shakes are thick, creamy, and bursting with flavor. They don't skimp on the ingredients, and you can taste the quality. The staff here is incredibly welcoming and attentive. Roll Cafe's commitment to excellent customer service adds another layer of charm to this already wonderful cafe. It's a place where you not only enjoy fantastic food but also feel genuinely valued as a customer.“
“The froyo was average and so were the prices (65 cents per ounce as of March 2024)??♀️ but the layout of the store was kinda flawed. All of the flavors are shoved in a tiny corner so when people came in it got really crowded. The workers were pretty nice “
“GREAT selection of Gelato. Friendly owner and YUMMY YUMMY food. We went back for seconds. Literally some of the best sweets ive had. He also uses like fresh milk and all these other things to make them healthier than average sweets!! Check them out!!“
“I don't know why this location has such a bad rep. It's the only real dessert place we have locally. They do a great job, delicious ice creams and tasty treats. It sure does satisfy when you're craving something sweet. We apparently weren't the only ones craving something sweet tonight, they were really busy. The girl working was very polite and handled the crowd well. We got our delicious treats and are satisfied.“
“This is cool! Togo’s with Baskin Robins at La Crescenta location inside shopping area I have visited before. Great service, nice atmosphere. The ice cream & the smoothie was so delicious. Easy to find seats enjoy ice cream food & drinks. The staff was very friendly. When 31 comes kids, family & friends snag for $1 scoop ice cream. Everyone doesn’t want to miss it.“
