Great restaurant with a wonderful view. We were lucky and got a seat on the terrace without waiting in line. The food was great. The service good. Price-performance ratio is good!

I made a reservation through OpenTable at 9:00 pm. When I got there (on time) and after waiting for someone to come up to me because there was no host, they tell me that the kitchen is closed. I explained that my reservation was at 9, and how could they allow reservations when the kitchen is closed and they were really rude, saying that it was past 9, explaining that the kitchen was closed and taking no responsibility. It was a complete waste of our time. The food might be good, but I won't be returning because of the service.

Outdoor seating is a must. Great views even on an overcast day. Food was amazing. We had crab wontons, mago pork ribs, huli huli chicken, and kaluha pork sandwich eachbone delicious!

What a delicious meal! Accompanied by a great view of the ocean and good service!Had the Macadamia Nut Hummus as a starter, followed by Sautéed Mac Nut Herb-Crusted Fresh Fish (mahi-mahi) as the main plate with a nice-chilled blonde ale and a side of mashed potatoes.Really wanted to try the Hula Pie for dessert, but was too full!Next time will have dessert ??

This was my favorite restaurant out of all the restaurants on my trip! The views were breathtaking, the food was exceptional and the staff were so friendly! We arrived at 10:30 on a Sunday and waited outside for the restaurant to open and we got a perfect table on the patio with the most amazing view! I had the eggs Benedict, my father in law had the Eggs Benedict with crab, my husband had the breakfast sandwich with Spam and my mother in law had the French toast. Everything tasted perfect!

Waitress was excellent, food was great and came fast even during a beyond busy day due to an event. Bathrooms are oddly placed when the line poured into the dining area due to only 2 stalls. Otherwise, cool spot with crazy beautiful view.
Great music, great atmosphere and seriously good food. The only downside (and this was on me) was that the drinks we chose weren't particularly good, but that was purely my choice. As you can tell, I don't recall the name of the drink so it must have been pretty strong ?

Really nice atmosphere; their outside seating is beautiful with a view to the ocean. The food was delicious and they have live music Fridays from 3-6pm at their upstairs bar with $10 Mai Tais ?

This was our first visit and we ordered our meals to go. Portion sizes were pretty small. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes just on one drink. Lots of people walked by and not inquired as to why we were waiting so customer service needs a little work. The food was good.

Duke’s La Jolla comes highly recommended! Our entire family had an exceptional experience—we loved everything from the atmosphere and service to the delicious food. We indulged in Poke Tacos, Mac Nut and Herb Crusted Fresh Fish, Cheeseburger Kids meals, and, of course, Hula Pie! Sean, our server, provided excellent service. We're grateful for the wonderful experience and eagerly anticipate dining here again soon.
