This restaurant offers affordably priced Mediterranean food in the heart of pricy La Jolla's shopping district. I have recently enjoyed meals there on two separate occasions, and found the food good, the wait time reasonable, and the service friendly.

We ordered the Lentil Bean soup, the Lamb-Beef Gryo Platter with fries. The fries and pita bread was so soft and fresh. The soup was delicious, and of course Gryos is always tasty. We also ordered the Baklava Cheesecake and regular Baklava. The cheesecake was creamy and had just the right amount of cinnamon. My husband loved the Baklava with just the right amount of brown sugar. The three staff members we interacted with were super nice and patient… Especially when we had trouble with the gift card to this place.Parking: We found parking just around the corner. Some of the parking spaces are gone because of the outdoor seating. But there are still some parking spots right next to them and all around streets nearby.

Good ambience and service. But food not upto the par with other mediterranean restaurents. Hummus was very dry. Pilaf rice was over steamed and very unflavorful. Out of all Chicken kabab was extremely dry & over roasted, like it was made from frozen stored chicken. Falafels were okay. All in all not recommended for food.

Thank you so much to the person who helped me solve a traveler's dilemma of wanting delicious and healthy food but not having enough time to get it before getting on a plane. My 7 am flight the next day was a lot more pleasant because of you, my deconstructed gyro survived the TSA and tasted great! The portions are very generous and everything was very thoughtfully packaged. Thank you!!!!!
