We had a fantastic New Year's Eve lunch, and as expected, the lobster bisque was consistently delightful. The stellar bread service added to the overall experience. We chose two excellent wines and enjoyed a good beer. Additionally, the duck tacos, a perennial favorite, never fail to impress.
Dog friendly!! There is a gorgeous outdoor patio that is dog friendly!! There are darling lights and such a fun atmosphere in the restaurant. Between the pasta and the pizza it all left us feeling happy and full! I highly recommend the Arugula and Pear Pizza! That was the tables favorite!I will say, when we arrived we were starving and hoping for a little complimentary bread basket that never came. We stopped by Sammy's on our way to the La Jolla Cove and it is such a beautiful restaurant! There were some holiday-themed ribbons and ornaments and a lot of beautiful flowers. We went around 2 PM on a Wednesday so it wasn't super busy and the service was so friendly! Our waitress was super attuned to our needs.
