The steak was tender and perfectly prepared and the enchilada and potatoes complemented the entire plate. Loved the atmosphere and the pitcher of margs was natural tasting.”

“We went to Anthony’s for late lunch/early dinner. The food and drinks were great but nothing compared to the service and experience that our servers provided. Exceptional! 20/10! Gina, GiGi and Shawna were just superb. We had 4 kids ages 5-9 amongst both couples and they absolutely made this dining experience so fun for our kids. Gigi took the kids to feed the ducks, the turtles and was talking to them for half of our dinner. This is a little gem of a spot with just the best service!”

“Every time we’ve gone, the food is good. They also have a good choice of craft beers on hand rotating. The service can be either really good or really bad. They have forgotten about us and left us waiting for a check for 40 minutes. I ordered a hamburger with two slices of cheese, when they served it the hamburger only had one slice. I asked the waitress if she could just take it back and add another slice of cheese. I am more than happy to pay for it. She blew a huffing sound, shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes and said whatever and walked away with the plate. When she brought it back, she sat the plate down and said, “Do you have enough cheese now”. My wife and I have actually enjoyed going to this place, but that waitress has turned me off for a while for sure.”

My husband and I rolled into Olive Garden on a Friday night with what can only be described as hungry eyes and zero self-control. Luckily, we had Iden as our server. Not only was he on top of every refill, he also kept us laughing the entire time. The guy is kind, sharp, and effortlessly funny. You can just tell he's one of the good ones, out here working his way through college. Iden set the bar ridiculously high and went the extra mile to make our meal extra special.
Thanks for the entertainment, great service and the good laughs. We'll be back sooner than eight years!

I usually get a bit of a stomach ache after eating Mexican food because it can be greasy, but never here. 🙌 The food at Vallarta Express is always fresh, light, and high quality. The lettuce is crisp, flavorful, and so fresh 🥬✨ — which says a lot about the care they put into their ingredients.
They also offer a great drink selection 🥤🍹 and have both comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, with TVs in every corner 📺 — perfect whether you’re relaxing, chatting, or catching a game.
The staff is incredibly friendly and customer-oriented 💛 It’s obvious they truly care about both the quality of their food and the service they provide. And to top it off, their prices are very reasonable 💰✨

I always come to this McDonald’s and if had a problem they were more than welcome to fix it for me no time! There quick with my food and sometimes I have to wait but I don’t have a problem cause I know how busy it can get. Even when I go inside and sit down, they bring my food and drinks to me, although they don’t have too. The coworkers are very nice I treat them with respect I get it back, they great me almost every time Maybe not all but it’s no biggy. I’ve seen many people get upset with the workers, not too long ago I seen a man throw the money over the counter at a young lady and told her to go get his coffee now because she’s going to make him “late” and then proceeded to tell her she didn’t belong here and she was being rude because she didn’t take his order first, all because she was trying to take out and order to a car who was outside. I don’t think I’d be consistently coming here if they were messing up my orders and or being rude. I have no problem with this McDonalds ??‍♀️”

“Service and food were amazing! Unexpected gem of a little food spot on the 4th floor of an office building. My Gyro burger was great! Very flavorful, thick burger patties, perfect Gyro meat, veggies paired greatly, and the Tzatziki sauce helped tie it all together. Portion was perfect to have the burger by itself without any sides, you can get the half (1 patty) or full like I did (2 patties). The burger plus the Pastrami came out to around $30 and for the amount of food and quality, I’d say it’s a great deal. Will be back for sure to try the many different options that are offered. Too many good choices!”

“Took a wrong turn on the freeway and that lead us to this place. We had been wanting to come in and took this as a sign. We went for the two meat meal- brisket and pork ribs with bbq beans and cole slaw. Delicious!! Brisket was fork tender and full of flavor, pork ribs were seasoned perfectly and just right. The baked beans and slaw were just as good. We liked that they let you put your own sauce on. The tables have their house made sauces, bbq and a bbq mustard. Both fantastic! They have beef ribs but only on Sundays, so we’ll need a return trip( oh darn!) Definitely have some new fans here. Oh and worth noting, we got one meal which was plenty for the two of us.”

I feel like a good sundae should have either chocolate sauce, nuts, or something else with each bite. There were sadly more than a couple masked bites with just the frozen yogurt (which admittedly was very tasty).

All were seasoned well, especially the shawarma...very bold. But it's the cook on the meat that set them apart! All 3 were tender, juicy, and savory. Too many overcook these but they just melted in my mouth. Highly recommended.”

“My 5th time in my life coming here, came back at May 7th 2026 with my partner, they sadly removed the pineapple orange chicken but the regular orange chicken still did not disappoint in fact its way better than panda or any other fast food in my opinion. We got the orange chicken regular, chicken katsu regular, 2 chicken lumpias and a hawaiin sun guava drink which totalled $27.63 dollars plus a $2.50 tax which was a total of $30.13 and for the price is really worth the buy, It's sad the foodcourt is empty but thats a good thing you can talk and enjoy your food but its sad the mall is dying out and saw their doing remodeling, maybe one day grossmont will get its fame back but other than that Maui Express deserved to stay up forever in case they remodel the foodcourt! I love their hawaiian food and even when I went to my trip to hawaii to see family I even had hawaiian food outside during my vacation to hawaii and even then I had some bad hawaiian food at a few certain spots and that I would refuse to go back to while on vacation, but Maui Express me and my partner ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! I'm glad to see the elderly couple still works there cause the way they cooked the food is so fresh and good and pretty hot freshly out the pan so you have to be careful when eating the food the second you get it but other than that it was such an amazing experience, food was so tasty and the couple were really nice to us. I always recommended Maui Express to family, friends and to any of the viewers looking at my review. Family owned buisness so show some love to them yall they deserve it! ❤️”

It would be nice to see more authentic oktoberfest food options, although I'm new to CA so- not sure if that cuisine is here or not. Great Brat/Sausage varieties and a couple pretzel spots. That was the most I saw within Bavarian cuisine though.

Could also use some seating or public restroom Options outside of the ticketed Beirgarten areas. Overall a nice visit though.”

“I havent been to a Boll Weevil since before 2019, they closed down the Chula Vista and Imperial Beach locations, but always liked their burgers and atmosphere. I found out there was one in La Mesa so I had to go and try their Super Cheeseburger and onion rings again (love their condiment tray). They did not dissappoint. “I live out east nowadays, but I visit my hometown in La Mesa yearly. Came to Curbside for the first time last year, and just now went back again. I wish we had food like this around here when I was growing up!! My gosh, the short rib beef is incredible. Had it on a salad last time, and just now had the short rib taco along with an equally impressive fish taco. I got a few bites of the beef kebab too, and it was just as top-notch! Great seating options with a view of La Mesa Blvd. Good beer list too. And wonderful staff. I wish I had more time to try more of the menu—but I’ll be back every time I’m in San Diego down the line. Wishing the best to Curbside!”

From Country to hard rock. We haven’t heard one band we haven’t loved. If your looking for a great bar with great music this is the place. Everyone is welcome in this bar. Great atmosphere and you can even order food and eat while while you listen to fantastic music or play pool and watch sports. This is a true fabulous neighborhood bar. Come And enjoy. They also offer a great drink selection 🥤🍹 and have both comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, with TVs in every corner 📺 — perfect whether you’re relaxing, chatting, or catching a game.
