This store has really gone downhill in the last year. They are really bad about keeping shelves stocked and having items in the ad available as well. Today they didn't have the pasta shelf stocked well at all! The pasta wasn't even on sale! This is not the only time this store has been poorly stocked and it is truly frustrating.
It is absolutely ridiculous you would only have 1 cashier after 8pm during the summertime! It is so unreasonable and unfair to both your employee and your customers! I had to wait in line 30 minutes because myself and all the customers in front of me had alcohol purchases

I'm writing this review primarily to say how great the staff and General Manager are at this Albertsons in La Mesa, CA. I'm disabled, and have had several encounters with the General Manager. He is always willing to help you out with anything you need, even if it's just for the littlest of things. I had to ask him for a favor today, TWICE, for the very same thing. He was very gracious.
