“A no-frills restaurant which serves consistently good Cantonese style Chinese food. This is our family go-to place for Chinese dinner. This is my born-in-China-mother’s favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is fresh and well prepared. The walnut shrimp is my favorite. Also like the black pepper steak. Their dim sum is excellent - on par with the other popular dim sum places in town. Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly.“

Knowing that I was buying food to celebrate the lunar new year, she told me about a celebration in the nearby public library. Was smiling all the time when we carried a conversation.Food: surprisingly good quality!!! The skin of the roasted pork was crispy. The meat was seasoned with the right amount of salt and spices. Each piece was cut perfectly and assembled nicely in the box, see picture. I sometimes get my roasted pork from a store in Clairemont Mesa. This place has better service and quality! “Raised my review as I keep going back! This place makes fantastic food and the people are nice. If you want great, quality chinese food, this is your place to go! I always order the mock chicken in all the dishes and it is so delicious! My spouse orders the regular (real chicken) dishes and he loves them. Their hot tea is good too...not crazy about the appetizers, but the main dishes are just fantastic. Most dishes range from $16-$18 and well worth it. Go try them out!“
