They have closed permanently and I'm heartbroken. I worked there for 4 years got really close with the customers and now it's no more.

I'm so heartbroken about this location's permanent closure. Boyfriend and I loved coming here for the weekday breakfast specials. The food and coffee was always great and so were the servers. I'm going to truly miss this place!

I've been a frequent customer of this Pollys for several years. We often buy pies throughout the year, just stopping on way home to pick up a pie. And since we normally host all of out family get together, we always have 3 or more pies for dessert. This Thanksgiving and Xmas was no different. Sadly, IMHO their quality has declined. The pecan pie, which for years had large pieces and whole pecans, and lots of them, now only had very small chopped pieces and only a thin layer to boot. The lemon meringue pie that we just got on New Years day was only a thin layer of lemon filling and that was horrible, with thick, gummy chunks, and we ended up throwing it out. I know that restaurants have issues with Covid, but really, the quality still has to be maintained...prices have gone up, and ingredients and quality have gone down...Pollys, you've lost a years long customer that typically spent hundreds of dollars every year, but you're not even close to what you used to be for my family

Their pies are *chef's kiss* I haven't eaten here but annually, I order about 5-10 pies for birthdays, holidays, and just because. I would highly recommend the Banberry and French Silk. I'm a creature of habit so I typically go with crowd favorites but I'm sure the other pies are great too.

Always love their chicken pie (I'll never order anything else). Their pies are also good, especially their pumpkin pie!

This review is based on their customer service. I bought 4 pies 2 days ago for thanksgiving from their La Mirada location, I put down a time of pick up for 10am, however I got there at 11 (running late) and they gave my pies away! I paid for them 2 days earlier, almost 70 dollars and their excuse was “you didn’t get here at 10!” The manager was rude! When I said to her that they couldn’t do that because they were paid for, her reply was “yes we can it’s our policy that if you don’t come we give them away!” Never again!!! I love their pies but to pay for something you’re not going to get is completely wrong! Horrible customer service!.

Two of us had egg Benedicts and none of the four eggs had a runny yoke, wife wanted just the pumkin pancakes but was told not available with out eggs and bacon meal. The two other people were ok with there meals

The good ol' Polly's Pies. It's my first time at a diner since pre-COVID. I'm surprised they're still around. This location is big, but it's dirty. The floors, tables, and seats could be cleaner. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot. The food was ok overall. I had an item from the fall special menu: turkey pie dinner. It came with really salty mashed potatoes, which has potato skin. The mashed potatoes had a nice presentation though! They dug a well and poured gravy in it. There was a side of cranberry sauce, which was good. The turkey pie was ok. My eating partner had the chicken fried steak, which was underwhelming. The mashed potatoes that came with it was not as salty as mine, but it came with barely any gravy. The side of veggies had some broccoli and cauliflower. We substituted something for stuffing instead, but it was underwhelming as well. Both entrees came with cornbread and whipped butter. The cornbread is good! We both got pie - a slice of banberry and a slice of boysenberry. The banberry was better than I expected because it didn't have rotten/old bananas that taste overripe. The boysenberry was so ridiculously sweet. Our server Patty was so sweet!!! She's the reason why I can't rate them any lower.

Very disappointed! Service is bad and the portions are way too small for the price. Use to love coming here. Not anymore.

Went there last night to pick up pies for desert. They're CLOSED for remodeling, Anyone know if they'll reopen for Thanksgiving?

While the food was really good, the restaurant was in poor shape. The booths are beat up. The dividers had clearly been Crayola'd by children with no effort to clean them up, and the restroom was a disaster area. The sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days-- several days-- and the trash was overflowing. Wish I could give it more stars or just consider the food, but they need to clean the place up.

Love this place... hostess wonderful, server wonderful food, wonderful service as always. Be patient they are low on staff and I'm guessing due to making employees wear masks and learning computer nonsense kitchen orders. Food was excellent not sure why they would need to know a computer system, or have someone doing it for the Cooks because you know THEY ARE COOKS!!! Mask policy is making people poor and dumber by the day. Release our people who want to work and be cooks etc., and support their families without government mandates.

Been coming here once or twice a week with my Wife our regular waiter or waitress are excellent Mexican young man is a cool guy!! S*** even my waitress young Mexican girl with the blonde hair is good too!! But the cook that f***** up our order you are lucky I didn't put hands on you today!! Ordered my regular breakfast burrito which is fire!! I always get country potatoes instead of hash browns cause I hate them. I get the burrito and it's hash browns. I calmly ask the waitress if I can get country potatoes she apologizes and comes back with my new burrito. I bight into it and there is burnt country potatoes in them I mean charred burnt peppers and onions....Clearly the cook is tripping over something.... My wife orders no meat in hers with country potatoes....Her burrito comes with sausage in it...‍Is the Cook having a bad day? Cause he's about to get his teeth knocked out!!! Great Customer Service BAD COOKS!!! ‍ POINT BLANK DO NOT PLAY WITH PEOPLES FOOD!!! ITS AGAINST THE CODE OF ETHICS AS GOOD HUMAN BEINGS

I over heard a manager today ask one of her employees that her was to crazy and had to be done a different way as someone who's hair is apart of my culture I do not believe this is appropriate to ask her. since we can't control weather or not our hair is" too poofy" or "too" curly as she stated this was a very poor choice of words as well as management skills. Our hair is beautiful and I believe we shouldn't be asked to tame it . the managers name was Jessica or Jess something along those line I could really read the name tag since I was in a hurry I just think this is unacceptable to say The least. Inappropriate and very disrespectful. and if this is going to be a topic of discussion it should be done in a private manner not where the customer as my self can over hear her.
