Whenever a girl takes my order does it incorrectly even though she repeats it correctly. Today...Ham and Avocado sandwich with jalapeño slices in sandwich. Lettuce and tomato slices on SIDE. So my sandwich does not get moist. Nope, No jalapeño, lettuce in sandwich very wet, tomatoes on side yes. Last year before doing changes on how I order. Went for a Ham and Avocado sandwich. Went to my friends house to enough lunch. To find NO Ham in my sandwich. I was so pissed, called, girl answered, said that's the way I ordered it. After 40 years really.”

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.”

“I recently visited Bambino Felice Restaurant and had an amazing experience. I ordered the Bambino Shrimp appetizer along with the Meat Lover Calzone and Homemade Chicken Ravioli. Everything was absolutely wonderful — the sauces were all on point and full of flavor.

And let’s not forget their homemade biscuits… soft, warm, and delicious. You can really taste the love in the food and service.

I highly recommend anyone in the area to visit. Honestly, even if you’re not nearby, it’s worth making the trip!”

“I've been going for over 30 years and was so disappointed in their food today. I get that food prices have gone up and the portions are smaller these day. I like the smaller portions. But to serve a half basket of chips and salsa in a little dressing cup that my chip cant fit in was disappointing. Their delicious green salsa verde with piece of meat in it was so not the same taste and was not good. I dont know when and if I'll ever go back again because of the disappointing quality of food.”

“Bob’s Burgers is one of my favorite local spots. I work around the corner and usually order the 3‑egg breakfast with hash browns and toast—it’s a great deal at $9.99 and always hits the spot. I’ve also had the Avocado Burger, which was delicious. I always dine in because the atmosphere is relaxed, the TV is usually on during lunch, and the staff—cashier, owner, and cooks—are consistently friendly and kind. They’re attentive, welcoming, and make you feel like a regular. Highly recommend stopping by.”

Whoever thought of it had a great idea and presentation(minus the vanilla scoop making it look like chunks of cheese floating around your tea) but awful awful execution. Also did not know the brown sugar boba was popping boba and it just felt like exploding gobs of caramel with each boba, very unpleasant. Get something else!!Also big sad there's no bubblegum flavor ice cream. :(”

The teriyaki chicken is always perfectly grilled, super juicy, not dry at all, and they do not skimp on the sauce. It's my go to though out of my area. 3 item.combo.with rice/noodles $11.59 3rd item is in a separate container since main box is too full. Our family favorites are chow mein, chow fun, orange chicken, bbq pork, egg foo Yung and work wonton soup... The soup is in a larger container than usual. Various drinks and boba available. Got 3 3 items combos work wonton soup extra rice noodles and rice and a lrg coke for $56. Fed 6 people with almost half leftover. They also have a special 3 lrg items and rice,noodles egg flower or hot & sour soup and 4.soda.cans
$30.99. I recommend. They have a few tables but we always takeout.”

We’ve tried the flautas, sopes, huaraches, tacos dorados, enchiladas, French fries and agua de melon & Jamaica. Their coffee is served hot and is very tasty. They give chips and salsa and the salsa is delicious. They get busy and sometimes it takes them a while to come around for refills but overall the staff is nice and the food comes out quickly. Since discovering this hidden gem, we’ve already been back twice and will continue to return. Also, their prices are very reasonable and the portions are great as well.”

This is a fun place as you will go crazy with excitement when you see all of the usual and unique flavors and items offered.

“Best subway I've had since I can remember. Went at 730 am (pregnancy craving) because this was the only one open. Will no longer go to the one by my house. 🙌 Bomb 💣”

“Been going here for 30 years, the food has not changed one bit and that's a good thing. It is delicious (and now, nostalgic). I do not live in the area anymore but every time I do come back and have a chance, I get their two entree combo with half chow mein half fried rice. My go-to is their orange chicken, pepper beef, jalepeno chicken, mushroom chicken, and their beef broccoli can't go wrong. (The kung pao chicken is best at Fusion Bowl in Eagle Rock, sorry Happy Wok).

They are somehow slow to change against inflation so its still relatively cheap, especially how generous the portions are. Service is quick and efficient. I basically feel guilty if I don't tip them. Ample dining room. Gets packed during meal time hours and line sometimes out the door. Don't change, Happy Wok.
