Got the tempura combo along with the La Quinta roll. I got filled up pretty good with it. The staff here are very nice. Easy to flag. Food came in fast. Small place, no more than 12 tables.

Best sushi and Japanese food in the area!everything was delicious. From the sushi to the tempura and chicken teriyaki!

Excellent quality sushi in a tiny little spot. The service was great, as 3 of us ordered multiple items and everything came out as expected, without the server writing anything down! They have so many different rolls to choose from and all were delicious. This is truly good value with high quality. I'm so glad to have found my new go-to sushi restaurant.

This sushi spot has undoubtedly secured its place as my favorite in the desert. Tastes amazing and is fairly priced. Not very crowded, allowing me have a more enjoyable experience. Plum wine, edamame, miso soup, and sushi. Each visit reaffirms why this spot holds a special spot in my culinary heart.

Service and timing of go orders is very very slow. They do not have control of staff unfortunately.

Very good food, and the service was great. Very quick but we went early. We will be going back. The place was small.

Small sushi restaurant with great sushi! I got the sushi combo- comes with a green salad with ginger dressing and miso soup. I'm from Hawaii and have been eating sushi and sashimi for 50 years and know good sushi- fresh fish, and a nice sized amount of fish with just the right amount of rice. Combine that with pleasant and quick service, and Sawa Sushi is a clear winner!! Highly recommend.

We were in the mood for sushi, so we discovered a lunch spot with a 4.4-star rating on Google. We expected excellent food and service. Opting for the love boat for 2, the food was satisfactory. However, the service left much to be desired, a mere 2 stars. The server displayed a lack of personality and an indifferent attitude. The restaurant appeared somewhat run-down, with dirty tables and a filthy bathroom. After my visit to the restroom, i lost my appetite.

Best octopus in the desert according to my husband. My favorite is the side salad with delicious carrot ginger dressing

Definitely one of the most boring sushi places Ive been. Rolls looked and tasted cheap. The interior is so boring. Waitress in a hurry and zero personality.

Doesn't open when the sign says they do. Stood and waited for 10 minutes after opening, tried the door again, the person inside ignored us. We'll go elsewhere.

I've been to hundreds of sushi places including some $200 omakase places, and while Sawa does not try to compete with elite fine dining experience, their sushi is in the top 10% of anyplace I've eaten. Super fresh, soft nigiri, perfectly cut. Delicious rolls with well balanced flavors. Even the edamame and katsu chicken were delicious. And prices extremely reasonable. If only I lived closer I would come all the time.
