My husband and I shared the entree of 2 Carne Asada Tostadas with rice and beans and it was delicious. Dinner with drinks and chips and salsa was only $22. Amazing price for such a wonderful meal. We eat a lot of Mexican food and this is one of the best!

First time here and placed an order to go. Hubby had the carne asada burrito and I had the carne asada super bowl. Yum! Authentic Mexican food and we should know. We moved up here from San Diego. Out of the 4 salsa cups put in bag, the darkest one is the best.

The service was great. Everyone raved about their meal. Margaritas are limited to regular or strawberry. Minus 1 star because I hate when Mexican restaurants charge for chips and salsa. The first batch should be free imo. Ample parking and seating. Food came out fast.

Quality Mexican Food all around. It is clear Carlos Mexican Food is a great asset to LA!The shredded Chicken is moist, but not terribly salty either. The carne asada has a nice flavor to it that is NOT greasy at all. The tortillas are perfectly warm and crisp, which is wrapped wonderfully the contents in the burrito. Simply put, the food dishes are balanced out nicely….again….NO grease at all.Service is pleasant and helpful; very friendly and checking in to see how you are doing. Wait time was nothing and the service was fairly quick.I highly recommend Carlos Mexican Food if you are in the LA area. Plenty of parking as well:)Vegetarian options: Over 7 plates available.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu

Now it's all I want but I love their carne asada too.. you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. To go or dine.It's a great restaurant, great people and great food

Apparrentlyonly open 2 hours midday 2 hours 4:30 to 6:30....white girls taking orders dont understand whats in a burrito. Ordered 2 burritos to go. Missing 3 ingredients that i asked for. 6 pm i got the greasy residual meat. Cooks dont know how to wrap and steam burrito.

Excellent service, reasonably priced and one of the best Margaritas I've ever had. Pretty sure it was made with fresh lime juice. I realize it's difficult for restaurants to stay open year-round in this vacation spot so we really appreciated that they are open and do a wonderful service.

(I'm ordering that next time).Family run business.Everything was extremely clean.Welcoming.Simple decor.Bar.Cons: (but this is just IMO) guac & enchiladas sauce was over salted, refried bean choice only, no build a combination offered.We ordered chips, salsa & guac, beef fajitas & cheese enchiladas. Our Mexican food craving was satisfied. We will be back!

Great people, great food, especially for the area. Love the carnitas plate. Seems a little spendy for the plates, but plenty of food for the money. They could give you more than 3 tortilla's with a 19 dollar plate that is typically still have left after using three tortillas stuffed with carnitas rice and beans and salsa into your pie hole. The family that runs the place are really nice people. Always super friendly. I eat here as often as I can.
