“We were greeted immediately and seated. Very friendly folks. The food came out very quickly after ordering. Surprisingly fast. Everything looked and tasted great. Good attention to detail on the preparation and presentation of everything. We all had breakfast but we'll definitely try lunch next time we're up here.“
“I've read some mixed reviews on this upper-village landmark, but let my first observation be that it's great to have the place back open after agonizing over its untimely closure and ultimate fate after the structural damage inflicted on the property during last year's harsh winter snowstorms! It was our family's first trip for the year, and we were relieved to find our favorite mountain pizza joint back up to speed and in good order. With a hungry party of six, their 24" Super Pizza immediately jumped out as our go-to size - and it definitely satisfied our pizza-loving crew's cravings (as well as providing a midnight snack later that evening). The pizza - a half cheese, half pepperoni - was cooked well despite its massive size, and the crisp crust was definitely a crowd pleaser. The pie was neither overly sauced, greasy, nor unevenly cooked, as can often be the case with pizzas of such a large size. Two thumbs up was our group consensus! Not everyone in our crew is a pizza fan, so we also ordered a turkey sub which was an additional home run. The roll was flaky and soft with a generous portion of turkey and the obligatory garnishes of shredded lettuce and diced tomato, making the sandwich a treat for both the eyes and stomach. The side of coleslaw was also good, though only one of several options available, so french fry lovers need not despair. Waiting for our pizza to cook, we also ordered some mozzarella sticks and a pitcher of beer to enjoy while sitting out on the patio overlooking the lower village and beautiful, blue waters of Lake Arrowhead beyond. The mozzarella sticks arrived piping hot and crispy, which is important if dining outside on an early March afternoon. Things can cool down quickly - especially when a brisk breeze mixes with Winter's receding chill - but who can resist the crisp mountain air and serene ambiance this location provides? Of course, there's plenty of warm seating inside AND a small arcade for those with a desire to feed quarters to the hungry machines. :D We had a great time enjoying some fantastic faire and left with no complaints. Prices appear to be a little higher than down below, (what isn't in our current economy?), but this mainstay of the village is still worth a visit while in the area! If you've never visited, grab a table on the patio and enjoy a truly capital dining experience!“
“Found ourselves eating a quick breakfast With a picturesque setting. Who knew something we would grab on the go back home would be much more relaxing here. There's no drive thru here but so worth a moment so slow down and enjoy my egg and cheese biscuit, hash brown and coffee. I'm lovin' it!“
“The kid's friendliness here is amazing. I can't se show anyone could ever even give In N Out a bad review. I understand the wait is long, but because it is so popular. I do know In N Out keeps their restaurant fully staffed and I appreciate that.Kid-friendliness: Stickers for the kids. Good quality stickers with a little scenery for them to play with. Plenty of high chairs. Free hot cocoa for kid son rainy days.“
“In-N-Out Burger is a classic favorite that never disappoints! Their simple yet delicious menu features freshly made burgers, crispy fries, and refreshing shakes. The quality of their ingredients shines through in every bite, making it worth the wait in line.“
“Great food and great customer service. Love the diner feel! Their kids meals come in a cool little car box lol Aside from that, the kids food is really good. If your kiddos like chicken nuggies like ours, they'll gobble these up. Even the picky ones. I highly recommend.“
“So happy they are open! Missed them when they left the Bear House.Food is great, serving sizes are perfect. Food is cooked just the way we asked for it.Building is clean and bright.Water is great, lines are very clean.Customer service is on point. Courteous, helpful, friendly, and cheerful.Definitely a good breakfast spot!!“
“I have seen Baseline Burgers for years because we shop at the feed store in the same complex. Well, today was the first time we have eaten here, ever. I have been wanting try it for years. Baseline Burgers closes at 2 o'clock so you need to get there early. We had corned beef hash (it was from the can), but it was great, chocolate chip pancakes, chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravey, and a ham and cheese omlet. We loved it all and the poetions were very generous. This is a family owned business and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We were never low on drinks and were often asked if we needed anything. I definitely recommend it if you haven't been here. This may become our new once-in-a-while morning breakfast brunch place. Hope you enjoy.“
“The place is a diamond in the rough. Seriously a little hidden gem. I have lived in the high desert on and off my whole life and had heard great things about the "Airport Cafe" but had never been, until recently. The food is great and the service was wonderful. I appreciated the affordable prices as well. Good Mexican food and a little bit of something for everyone on the menu. Will definitely be back.“
“If you like gourmet burgers, this is the place to go. I hardly go to restaurants anymore unless they're top rated and even then we have been disappointed at times. The meat that is served in restaurants is often low-quality, probably because they fed the animals cardboard. Spade and spatula has that best probably grass fed beef around town. I would drive many miles for the hamburgers at this place. The service is always good as well. The owner puts her heart and soul into the establishment.“
