Sometimes ordering food ahead over the phone can cause the employee to misunderstand your order if you have multiple modifications. Although they are very nice, it's better to order in person if you are ordering take out so you can ensure your order is rung up correctly. The modifications for my bowls despite being correct, were mixed up and in combination with the wrong toppings. Not a big deal, the food was still great and they are awesome taking orders right up until 9pm when they close no matter what! Overall decent service!

My experience is always good. Consistent, good quality, and super tasty. Bit pricey for what it is, but what's not these days, eh? Whenever I'm in town for business I usually drop in for lunch at least one day and enjoy a bowl with extra sauce and avocado.

Ordered Postmates to this location and said delivery would be 25-35 minutes. The food didn't end up being completed until an hour and 30 minutes after I placed the order. Called the store and the cashier told me that they're busy, insinuating that my Postmates order isn't priority. Like I'm not also a customer ordering from their location. Won't be spending my money at this establishment. Oh yeah, the manager James doesn't speak English. Who hires a manager that can't take on customer issues. Smh.

My husband and I were there to eat on Monday. The store was empty, and one cashier was on the phone. The owner and the one person in the kitchen looked at us and didn't even knowledge of us being there. There was no one in there, but yet no bother to ask what we wanted to order. We stood there for a good 10 min and decided to go to another place to eat. The service score is absolutely zero

If you’ve never had Waba Grill definitely give it a try. It is one of my favorite lunches and if you get the medium bowl it’s just the right amount for dinner. The meat is always very tender and delicious and I love their steamed vegetables, healthy fresh just how you want them. Staff was very friendly and eager to help. I had some questions about the sizes which day were able to answer. Tonight I picked it up for my parents and my father loved it said it was the best teriyaki bowl he’s ever had, I told him that’s because it’s not a teriyaki bowl. It’s Waba Grill.Kid-friendliness: They have kid options that everyone’s family will loveParking: Always available spots upfront if not, huge parking lot behind.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap spaces upfront, as well as easy entrance in and bathroom.

The restaurant is clean, the staff is kind, and the food is consistently tasty. There is a surprisingly large amount of healthy options and value deals. Their dumplings are underrated :). Definitely a go-to for someone looking for a healthy, tasty and affordable place to grab a quick eat.

We have tried to give the Portola store chances - at least 11 times since it is about 4 minutes from our house. Every time something is wrong, bad, etc.1. Sauces not regularly available - something is always out of stock - every time...2. Portions are a rip off - ordered extra steak & didn't get it...and got 1/2 the normal amount of rice3. Wrong sauce placed on the food4. No added utensils or sauce placed in the to go bag5. Avocado in bowl was BROWN - NOT FRESH, & should not be served like this- took a picture and rice was about 1/8 from the bottomWe won't go back to this store ever again & will be placing bad reviews on every media service we are on. Enough is enough...someone needs to sort this store out and make improvements to correct the issues listed, and whatever else others may have complained about.
