Love rare tea! My sister and I always come here for their matcha (literally best matcha anywhere in the av area) and whenever we change our go to order we're never disappointed by their overall quality in their drinks. The employees are always super nice and the shop itself is spacious and super clean. Best boba shop in the av area honestly especially since you can change their sweetness.

Excellent Taiwanese bubble tea chain with good quality tea made with good quality ingredients (think organic milk, vegan milk, cane sugar, and other natural ingredients). Many establishments use premade flavored powders to create your bubble tea. As far as I know Raretea does not do this. The staff are polite and thoughtful (like most workers in Taiwan and Japan) and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I've had the Hokkaido Milk Tea and Coffee Milk Tea so far. Both are delicious. Coffee Milk Tea was a surprise as most bubble shops don't make good coffee but this was great.Be aware that they don't use as much sugar as other bubble tea shops, so 50% sweetness will taste more like 20% sweetness. If you're looking for a more "grown up" version of bubble tea that is better for your health without compromising flavor, this is the place to visit. Rartetea is truly a rare gem!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The customer service is always amazing. The sweetest people worker there. I can not express this enough that their matcha latte is the absolute best and my all-time favorite. It's so so so good, add some boba, and you have such a refreshing drink. The boba itself is always chewy and soft, perfectly sweet. The milk tea is never bitter, not overly sweet. I've tried many things the oolong is great, Earl grey is another favorite of mine. Try the thai tea its popular for a reason! I would definitely recommend this place. By far the best boba milktea in the av. They also have a lot of great toppings and regular teas if you dont want milktea. They do have a rewards program, so ask about that when you order.Kid-friendliness: There are lots of board games to play with your kids while waiting for your drinks.

Wifi, outlets, quiet, a nice place to work or play board games with friends. They have games here including Jenga, mini foosball, Uno, and more! Nice and fast service! Delicious boba! My favorite is the milk tea, coffee milk tea, and the Thai tea! Delicious

Wow this boba is amazing! What a fun surprise in the AV. All the other boba places have not even come close to Orange County. The tapioca pearls are the perfect texture and flavor. I got the Okinawa milk tea with boba and I was very happy. Will definitely come here again!

Clean and contemporary inside with a throwback to table top games. There is a pile to chose from in the corner to play as you wait or to sit-sip-relax with a game or so during the day. Staff is so friendly as well as being quick and efficient. I am NOT a boba lover but my son is and he said the boba is soft,chewy melt in your mouth along with being very flavorful.

Oh my ... words can't explain how good this boba is ‼If I could I would get a boba from here everyday‼ No other place compares to RareTea!! The tapioca balls by itself are to die for‼ I've tried many boba places here in the AV but none compare to RareTea‼ Highly recommend you give this place a try‼

I recently visited Rare Tea after visiting the sueprbloom at Antelope. I was craving an avocado smoothie, and I was happy to see that Rare Tea had one on their menu. The smoothie was delicious, with a rich, creamy avocado flavor and a hint of sweetness from the condensed milk. The price was mid-range, and the service was friendly and efficient. I also liked the fact that Rare Tea has a lot of seating area, so it was easy to find a place to sit and relax. The logo design is also cute and inviting. Easily recommended as a good boba spot. This place won't miss.
