First time in LA and I ate at El Amigo’s. The green enchiladas were delicious. The salsa (has a spicy kick) and fresh chips added to the 5 star rating. Staff was nice and this place has a cozy atmosphere.
I had 2 lengua, 1 carnitas, and 1 steak tacos. The food came quickly and all were super tasty. Lengua was the best, then steak, then carnitas. Their chips are the slightly thicker kind which I like better. All in all, it's a perfect place for a quick lunch. Get there early cause parking can be an

Love El Amigo! There are a few locations around the South Bay. This one is a little snack just under the 405. A few tables for indoor seating and a few additional outside in a shaded outdoor area. The tacos are a staple in the workday lunch rotation, and the fellas working the register are always fast and efficient. Food comes out very quickly even for giant taco orders.
