I love it!. I came in today to try the pan con pollo, and it was delicious. It brought back childhood memories. They have a special every day, which makes you want to come every day, lol. I will definitely come back again!.

The truck was at Common Space Brewery on a Saturday afternoon when we had dinner. We opted for the garanchas and quesabirria tacos plate. The total was a little over $30 for the combo, and it ended up being plenty of food for my wife and I.Both dishes came out piping hot. That includes the consomme on the side. The salsas and pickled cabbage were nice and cold, with the salsas spicy and very tasty. All items on both plates were delicious and excellent quality. The combo of various ingredients worked very well together texturally and flavor-wise. We really enjoyed everything and would definitely dine with this truck again.

Great authentic Guatemalan cuisine! The garnachas are amazing! The ceviche is delicious! They offer some Mexican dishes like quesabirria tacos and flautas. They have specials every couple of days and usually on Sundays.Ordering ahead through Instagram is recommended, they tend to sell out of the specials before closing time.

The tacos were perfect, unfortunately triggered a reaction with my autoimmune food allergy. Other than that I would eat those tacos everyday

Tried everything on the menu and it was delicious. We particularly liked the garnachas and quesabirrias. The flautas de pollo was very good as was the ceviche de camaron although I could have done with more shrimps in the ceviche. Overall though, great food and very friendly customer service. We will definately be back!

A Guatemalan food truck!! Food was delicious. I tried the garnachas (mini fried tortillas topped with a ground beef mixture, sauce, and cheese) as well as Guatemalan tamales. The tamales were huge and had a ton of the traditional toppings! The garnachas were really yummy. The food truck sets up behind Alondra park, near the baseball field on the Manhattan Beach side (near Prairie). Definitely coming back for their rotating specials!

I saw El Fogon on Instagram and saw that it was usually posted up in my neighborhood. What really wheeled me in was the tamales in the banana leaf and the Garnaches. Being that I'm from Belize I wanted to try Guatemalan food since some food seemed a little similar. It took me a little while to find the truck because I went to the front Entrance of Alondra Park since on the Instagram story that was all that was said. I think it would be a good idea for them to tell the actual street they're on since they perimeter of the park is so huge and they're so many food trucks and taco stand to choose from. Before I found them I pulled up to a taco stand thinking it was them and realized it was tacos and ate 2 tacos which were so good I almost threw in the towel to finding el Fogon but stuck to the plan on trying something different besides tacos. When we finally found them they only had 4 things on the menu: Garnaches, Flautas/taquitos, birria crispy tacos and shrimp ceviche cocktails. It was a very limited menu and no tamales were available. I decided to get the garnaches because everything else I could buy anywhere else plus the birria tacos was previously fried and hanging in the window. My daughter chose flautas with rice and beans since that's her favorite. Garnaches 3/5 Flautas: 2.5/5 (seemed pre-fried, lack flavor for chicken and the beans) Service: Great, love seeing a mother and daughter work together. The young lady that took the order was very nice. I would like to give this truck another chance because it definitely has potential to blossom. I will look out for tamales and return to try and whatever new will be on the menu.

Garnachas and birria quesadillas are the best, very authentic and made when you order. The birria consomé has the perfect flavor, not watery at all. We are a fan now. Will try the birria ramen next.
