“Came through their drive-thru twice for school lunch to get their deal of mix 2 for $10; a 2 piece extra crispy chicken with biscuit and a chicken sandwich.Their chicken was so juicy, and the breading of the skin was just right and crisp. I scarfed it down so fast. The chicken sandwich is just delightful as well! The chicken was a good, soft, but crisp crunch, and their sauce was great with every bite.Complete the meal with a large raspberry tea, and you got yourself a fulfilling meal right there!“
“Oh my baGawk!Their chicken is soo ridiculously good. And that's coming from a vegetarian that had their crispy plant tenders. Pair it with their house salad and a beer and you'll be set! I look forward to eating here whenever we're around one of their 3 locations because they never disappoint! It's the only place where my very carnivorous bf and I can comfortably eat a full crispy chicken meal with our toddler , who is now also a huge fan.Vegetarian options: Plant based tenders in multiple sauce/flavor options , sides , saladsKid-friendliness: Outdoor shaded, enclosed patioWheelchair accessibility: Out door patio“
“I had the most amazing kimchi fried rice here today. The portion was super generous for the price of $12, and their chicken was so flavorful. I was able to have this dish for about two rounds of leftovers too! The staff at the front were quite warm and the food was made in about 10-15 minutes. The vibe inside is really cute, too. They have hanging plants all throughout, and they have lots of sunlight inside. Can't wait to try something else next time.“
“This is only the 2nd time my wife & I have been to the Crack Shack. It is expensive to eat out. But, that’s every where in California. With that said, the food is totally worth it. We both had the BAE with chicken and it was delicious! Even the soda is great! They carry Stubborn brand all natural sodas. I had the black cherry. You can play corn hole. Parking is a little bit challenging.“
“We go to the chicken pie shop whenever we are in the area, and we have done so for over the past 20 years! My husband and I have been going here since we first started dating. Now we bring our children, all four of them! And they all love the Chicken Pie shop just about as much as we do, if not more. Their food is always better than expected. Their staff is so wonderful and they always remember a regular, even if they are regular every so often. When you are feeding a family of six, assuming you can find a decent place that can accommodate all of you, It can be extremely expensive. At the Chicken Pie shop that is never the case! For the staff, the quality of food, and the quantity of food you cannot be the prices! This last visit there was only five of us: we each had our own entree, three of our children had milkshakes, my husband and I each had pie, and we even took a little something home to our child who was not there with us, and all of that only cost us around $80! That is unheard of around here! If you don't believe me or all of the other reviews about the Chicken Pie shop, I dare you to try it yourself!“
“Not at all Gluten Free, so I didn’t eat the food, but my guests said it was the best chicken sandwich in town. The service was friendly and fast. The street and bus stop in front of the shop are full of activity, no shortage of “atmosphere” in City Heights.Dietary restrictions: It’s proper Halal food.“
“Went to try the cauliflower sliders , they were so good!! Great option for vegetarians. I'm not a fan of crinkle cut fries, but theirs are the best I've ever had. A little pricey for fast food, but what isn't nowadays?Definitely going back! I love that you can choose the spice level, anywhere from zero to 10. Parking at this location during lunch was a hassle. Might want to park at Home Depot and walk over.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower is breaded and deep fried? Air baked? Don't know which. Wasn't greasy and was delicious perfection.“
“This place may not look like much from outside, but man, it's AMAZING! Delicious, crunchy fries, perfectly crispy chicken (in the southern hot chicken style...but you can order mild if you so please), with scrumptious coleslaw. If you're a fan of hot chicken, this is your new spot! The service is always top notch, the place is always clean and tidy, and as stated the food is absolutely insane.(Also tickled that you can get Crack and Hot Chickz in the same strip mall...nice ?)“
“The Honey Butter wings were a hit! We also ordered the Honey Soy wings and the original, but the hubsnsaidnhe really liked the Honey Butter...Yakisoba was delicious as well. This is a good spot for a quick last-minute dinner when in a pinch. Vibe was almost loungy, when we went to pick up around 7 p.m., low lighting and booths made it feel cozy.“
“Got fried zucchini and it comes with ranch. This is one of my favorite items on their menu, my favorite fried zucchini for sure. The lady who helped me was really nice and patiently helped take my order. I sat outside, this is the only location that has outside seating in east county and it was nice to do that on a sunny day. There was a sewer smell outside, so I wasn't going to sit out there at first, but it went away by the time my order was ready.“
“Amazing food! Extremely crispy chicken without it being dry! I didn't know that the chicken would come with gravy, which was a lovely surprise. The Jollibee Spaghetti was also good, a little sweet but not bad at all. I also tried the Adobo Rice, and it was decent. All in all, it was an amazing first experience. I'll definitely he back soon!“
“It’s my favorite chicken place! I definitely recommend this place for fried chicken ?, especially the spicy flavor. It’s more of a sweet and spicy combination, so I really enjoy it even though I'm not good at eating spicy food. Also, the fried chicken tastes like old KFC chicken, with various herbs evident in its crispy exterior and moist interior. I highly recommend the original taste as well.“
“Tenders are very good! Fries are good, nothing special. Service is kiosk ordering. No interaction with anyone. Charge .50 per dipping sauce and .50 for “no sauce”? Only free item is ketchup. Reasonably quick food prep. Hot enough to still be warm after walking back to hotel 10 minutes away. Located inside a mini food court type area. Only real issue is drink prices. $4.00 for a 20oz bottle of Diet Coke is ridiculous. Less expensive out of vending machine at hotel which means it’s over priced! Otherwise will definitely get their tenders again next time in SAN.“
“So this is my second post for Popeye's Chicken. At first I was sparked on the ghost pepper wings but the spicy wings are good but I'm inlove with the regular spicy wings the best!!! It's the one in Lemon Grove. The parking is limited but nice service.“
