Brisket was also great. Ribs would be great had they not been a lil dry. But great spot to grab a beer downtown.The Mac and cheese is meh, it's either dry or soupy, which is fine but the texture is a bit grainy as an fyi.“
“I use to come here as a teenager when I lived in town for a year or 2 and I can honestly say Ive moved all across the country and lived in big cities and this place tops any burger joint I've been to. The customer service is emasculate. Its a dainty little shop in an empty lot but its if not the best comfort food ive ever had. I craved it so bad when I was pregnant in Chicago and almost bought a ticket just to have some. I dont buy mushroom burgers from anywhere else because i know it wont be up to par. parparwith bens. 4 years later and its almost exactly the same and tastes the same. I will always break the bank when i come because it's just that good.“

So when my old pal Wobbly Pete needed a ride down to Livermore to drop off his peg leg to Yakety Yaks Wood Shop there on Beaver street to have ol Yak do some customizin to it we'll be shootin straight there, he's having a secret compartment for his Derringer installed, so he can quick draw the hoodlums. The Hop gives it to you just like you ask...I ordered a tuna sandwich, hold the bread. It was Amazing! 5 stars!☆☆☆☆☆“
“I always love Nation's. Most everything else with ice cream was closed tonight after 9pm so we ended up here. Partner ordered one boysenberry pie with ice cream. I asked if she wanted to split it. I answered for her, of course not. She did NOT, as witnessed by staff, contradict me. Ergo TWO pies. I have spoken.Noting it was Saturday, July 1st 2023, and we were the only customers except for the occasional phone, Doordash and GrubHub pick up. Plenty of parking, It's in a shopping center. It has a very unique location with view of mountains and a place to be during sunset. If you are looking for a late night, it turns into a bar around 10 pm with DJ on weekends.“
