I love the fact that they provide a menu of upcoming flavors. 2 people whom I presume might be the owners have always been so nice and give us a generous amount of yogurt. “Guess I am on a roll...another five star experience/review for a craft coffee shop. Comal is near one of our Lodi properties and we have walked by many times. Last evening they were roasting and we stopped and chatted with the owner about coffee, brewing, beans, places where beans are grown, roasters, roasting and business in general. After seeing them roast their own beans I couldn't resist stopping by this AM for an Americano. And this morning on the way...we could smell the roaster a couple blocks away...nice, builds the anticipation. So if you like very good coffee this is a recommendation for Comal. They have what you need, Fresh roasted beans (this batch from Guatemala I think) a good machine that pulls a great espresso, friendly service and a great Americano. A good cup doesn't need sweetener or dairy and mine certainly didn't today. So to sum up, above average coffee, great service and the satisfaction of supporting another local small family-run business. As my grand boys say...two big thumbs up!“
“I am absolutely blown away at the excellence of this place. SUPER friendly staff! I like to come in and have a cup of coffee or a green chi, which are excellent. But what makes this place special is the atmosphere. Right now I'm sitting in a cozy chair and there are like a dozen people just standing and socializing like this place is the spot in Lodi. “I usually stop by Tillies for a bagel sandwich on the weekends, can't beat it! Cute inviting spot in downtown Lodi that's great for food or coffee or even if you're just wanting to have a seat between visiting shops in downtown. The smoothies are great too! “Coffee is better then the starbucks across the street. But not as good as Java stop down the road. However, they make that up with their service/shop in spades. The shop gives off a GREAT atmosphere. When you walk in, you can't help but just feel like you at home or at a safe place. I have never had a bad experience at house of coffees. Between the great service and music. Great tables and chairs. You just can't get that at Java stop. Not bad for the second best coffee in town. I suggest the nutty Irishman.“

“Nice vibe, but more importantly excellent coffee. I love my cortados, but any time I try a new place, I start with a straight espresso shot to really get a taste of the beans. This did not disappoint! Excellent balance, and a nice smooth, sweet finish. Perfection. (Oh…the cortados was excellent too!)“

A hot chocolate with either coconut or peppermint for me and a pup cup for him on a chilly morning is a must have, and on a warmer day I enjoy their blended lemonades and other cold drinks.The staff is always a delight and seem to be genuinely happy to be there, which is always good to see. “I love brix. it's so good, and such good people. They have so many different flavors of shakes that all taste so good! But it really does take a long time to get a drink anymore and I don't fault the employees but sometimes I wonder if it's really acceptable. I have nothing to suggest to make it better but these baristas now deal with orders coming from so many places that if you go in, you're going to wait even for a glass of water so be aware. Not slamming customer service since I've been a solid customer for decades. This also means you won't get a code for the bathroom right away, so don't choose if you're desperate for water and toilet. This is at any and all locations anymore, at least in bighways. The mobile orders, the delivery orders, the person at the counter, the drive-through .... it can be a serious wait.Much love and appreciation to all Starbucks employees ?Parking: The free parking lot is small but most people are not staying. “Super cute place to spend the day studying/doing work. They have everything you need: coffee, food, alcohol, and a comfy couch! The food is very reasonably priced and they actually have a very large variety of food like paninis, appetizers, soups. The service was also great. I will definitely be back here to try some more drinks (alcohol & coffee) and the paninis/breakfast burritos look really good.“
“I'm giving this four stars because I'm not trying to come down on this Starbucks as a whole, but they need to pay attention to food presentation. Half the bacon was completely out of the sandwich and the other half along with all the cheese was all on one side of the bread. I assume these are mass made and delivered in a package, which makes me scratch my head as to why the sandwich was disorderly and falling apart. I've gotten this same sandwich also in rough shape at a different location. Strange.“

“So I've been here a few times now since I moved back to the area. They opened last year 2023 February. My sister, who is a coffee addict, brought me. I just started drinking coffee. They are located in a plaza so plenty of parking. The facade is so cute and always seasonally decorated. The inside is so cute tons of photo opps! Its a mexican themed cafe & you can see it in the decor & the food/drink selection. They have tortas, mexican sweet bread, mexican drinks, etc. The staff has always been kind to me. They have teens working too. Its just very cheery in here which I like. They have a private bathroom, free wifi, plenty of seating, & if you eat/drink here you have the option of using the old school mexican mugs made out of like clay or something which I love! My favorite drink is the hot Mexican mocha, its like an Abuelita hot chocolate with coffee. The music is eclectic spanish and english & not too loud. Anyway, we come here pretty often and I reccomend.“
