“An absolute hidden gem! The ambiance is perfectly quaint and charming. The restaurant/garden is run by the mother (chef) and her daughter. The two make a perfect team where they make the guests feel comfortable as though being invited into their home. For decades, my wife and I only ate pappusas made by my mother-in-law because they were the best, but now we definitely have our new favorite (a secret she can never find out). There are tiny tables throughout the garden to enjoy those warm pappusas and the freshly made fruit drinks. We loved everything about it and can't wait to go back!“
“These mini donuts are little bites of heaven! I attended a fundraiser this past Saturday and ordered a dozen of the variety pack, and 1 dozen of the powder sugar donuts. The donuts melt in your mouth! They were sweet, but not too sweet. Moist, but not gooey. Small bites, but very filling. Ordering was extremely easy...they accept cash/debit/credit. The service was quick and the product was on point. They even brought my donuts to me after my corn hole game was finished so I didn't need to walk over to pick them up. “Im a young adult now and my family has been coming her since my grandfather became friends with original owner, who then paassed ownership to his daughters and other members of his family. They have several trucks throughout Stockton and one in Lathrop (all under different names) each truck with its own distinct style and flavor. This truck is still fantastic, the only downside is that they have switched to a slightly lower quality chicken due to the rising price of better cuts, it has a fair bit more nerve then I like, but that is just a preference. The family is very friendly and sweet. Honestly try to come here whenever I'm in the area. 4.5/5“
“Went there for the first time on Monday. Had the "Caldo de Chacal Mixto". It was a pleasant surprise how good it was. Perfectly seasoned. It has one Chacal which is basically a giant prawn. It also had regular shrimp, octopus, and chunks of fish. It also comes with veggies like zucchini and carrots. We were provided hand made tortillas which is always a plus. They place is kind of small, but it wasn't crowded that day. We talked to the owner, and he's a very pleasant and attentive.“
