Harney Lane Vineyards Wineries •
9010 E Harney Ln, Lodi

“I use to belong to about 20 wine clubs the last couple years I've dropped them all but this one. First and what's most important in a winery is great wine. Next the staff is awesome. The ambience is great. Not as opulent as some of the Sonoma/Napa/ Paso Robles tasting rooms but beautiful grounds to enjoy a fabulous glass of their wine. But top of my list is the Family , my beautiful friend Kathy the matriarch, her daughter Jorja, and always smiling son-in law Kyle make you feel like you are part of their family. Even when medical issues made me quit drinking wine for a while I kept my membership and gifted wine to friends. This will always be a keeper for me.“

Wilson Family Winery Winery •
11484 E Harney Ln, Lodi

“Both the Zin Fan Dale and Barrel #225 were immediate bottles I wanted to purchase. Don't judge my wine descriptions I'm about to give... as I make no sommelier claims :-D BUT... Man O War reminded me of a hearty/meaty, savory style wine that would pair perfect with a meal as such. Castaway is a cab that doesn't remind me of a typical cab with what I perceive to be the harshness of that style. This one was subtle and smooth. With the wine space at home overflowing, I settled on one bottle... for now! (Barrel #225) Trista was awesome! She greeted me immediately, welcomed me in and got right to telling me all about the winery and story behind the labels, location, family and wine. She was warm and energetic and seemed to really enjoy what she does. Wilson Family Winery also has sangrias and a cider on tap, as well as wine slushies. (I'll have to come back to try these! Today I just did the wine tasting, which included 6 wines for $10- and currently waived with the purchase of a bottle.) Their wine club pick-up parties also sound awesome based on what she was telling me... something to keep in mind for certain. The secret seasoning popcorn is a nice touch as well ;-)“

Lucas Winery Winery •

“Excellent experience. Very friendly staff. Lucas is a small scale winery with roots to the very foundation of wine in the Lodi region. Excellent Zinfandel from a real "old vine" vineyard right outside the back door of the tasting room. Highly recommended.“

“Intercoastal Winery is the diamond in the rough! A must visit when in the Lodi area. The wines are superbly crafted by the wine maker (Mitch) and the front of the house is run by Rochelle who is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The staff makes you feel like your home with friends .The Chardonnay is flavorful and buttery, this one changed my mind about whites! You definitely cannot go wrong with any of their reds.“

Pondl Winery Winery • $$
665 W Turner Rd, Lodi

“Make Pondl your FIRST stop of the day and you will not regret it! This is a small winery, but we had the best experience here compared to visiting other larger wineries. The owner is fantastic, he showed us how he made the wine and entertained us with the history of how Pondl came to be. He was so delightful and had many stories to tell us, we were laughing so hard! This place is an absolute gem and the wine is very unique and the reds have a much more stronger kick compared to other wines I have tasted. We've visited over 15 wineries in Lodi and this by far was our favorite!“

Spenker Family Farm Wineries • $$
17291 Devries Rd, Lodi

“The Spenker Family Farm is welcoming to people of all ages. Goats are bred and raised here, with a creamery to produce goat cheese. Grapes are grown, and with that comes the wine to accompany the cheese. Nearby are the chickens for those farm fresh eggs. You might get a chance to meet Houston, the livestock guardian who is an Anatolian Shepard and towers above the Nubian goats. There are many events to interact with the goats through the spring and summer. And let us not forget the humans too, everyone is friendly and a wealth of knowledge for those who come with questions.“

“My friends and I had a memorable time at Harmony. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with Shaun, the winemaker, and hearing about his journey. The wines were delicious and you can tell they are a labor of love. The organ is fascinating. I would definitely come back here often if I lived closer, especially to check out their silent movie nights. Visit this winery for laid-back vibes, great conversation and top-notch zins. I look forward to cracking open my bottle of pipedreams for that special occasion.“

“Besides Napa Valley, d’Art wine possesses a certain red referred to as dog day, and it is the most delicious red wine, parallel to wine that I have had from France, that I have ever had. d’Art’s dog day is wonderful, especially chilled. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful and Helen, the owner, is a wonderful personality.“

Nostra Vita Family Winery Winery •
1150 W Turner Rd, Lodi

“The young lady helping my Comadre start her club membership was very helpful. The wine here is nice. The atmosphere is super comfy. I was here last month and we celebrated my Comadre's birthday outside. They let you bring your own snacks which I think is very generous. Almost makes me want to switch my membership over so I can hangout with family without having to spend money on everything else too .“

“At Christmas time this winery is decorated beautifully! It reminds me of an Old vineyard in Italy with it's massive furnishings and large rooms. The people that work there are so friendly and informative of the vineyard. I recommend going anytime, but my first adventure was during the holidays so I definitely recommend going then.“

LVVR Sparkling Cellars Winery • $$
17036 N Locust Tree Rd, Lodi

“Julie who runs the tasting room is so warm and welcoming, and has been part of this winery's journey since the early days so she can share a lot of history. She even brought out Gouda, their black fluffy winery kitty! We did a regular and a reserve tasting so we could try everything. The Reserve tasting in particular was really fun, with very interesting takes on sparkling wines. Prices for these wines at this quality are insanely low - we took home 3 bottles of the Grand Cuvee (which was our favorite).I would consider this a "can't miss" winery stop in Lodi! We look forward to returning.“

“We had a complete blast tasting wine with host, Brennan last Tuesday, 1-30-24. Thanks for a perfect time, Brennan! Klinker Brick is a great place to experience Lodi wine - my favorite wine in the world!“
