Idol Beer Works Brewery • $
100 S Sacramento St Suite A, Lodi

“A hidden gem in Lodi, Idol Beer Works offers the best pours in the area, focusing on small batch brews that deliver on huge flavors. After a glass of Extralicious, a hazy IPA, I often wonder if I'm drinking God's pondwater. After two, who cares? With many gluten free options, Idol offers a variety of beers beyond the normal local Nor Cal 'fifty IPAs' pours. Smutty Fraulein, a German lager, is a delicious cold brewed perfection. And don't miss out on their red, called Chasing Glory. A perfect fit for families or those with fur babies, Idol is what is best in Lodi -an unpretentious take on the things you've loved for years. But let's talk those IPAs... Idol is coming for you Russian River, Track 7, and Five Windows.“

“My first time here and from the moment you walk in the place takes your breath away. From the amazing food smells to the drinks passing by on trays. Finding a great steak is no easy task...but the task was more than met at this place. I had the GREATEST New York Streak I've EVER had. It was so good I refused to eat my sides as I wanted nothing to interfere with the steaks great taste...couple that with their delicious beers and the AMAZING service from Diana...we will 100% be back and recommend it to friends and family.“

Five Window Beer Co. Brewery • $$
9 W Locust St, Lodi

“We had a great experience here. We even brought in our dog. They are very dog friendly, they even have little treats for your four legged pals. We didn’t know you have to go up and order so that was a little bit of a bummer but not a deal breaker. I ordered the bruschetta pizza and it was so delicious!!!! My kids had the garlic cheese bread and our second time ordering it. They always kind of burn it a little bit and my kids don’t want to eat any of it. So next time I’ll ask for them to make sure they don’t burn any pieces on there. If I had any recommendations to this brewery, it would be that the servers take your order at the table And that they had a little bit more options on the menu of variety of food. Burgers and fries would be awesome and also nachos would be really good. We’re not big pizza eaters but love this place! So far the staff that I have met have been very nice. We would like to make this one of our regular spots to go to. The beer is delicious. We always get the West Coast.“

River Rock Brewery Brewery • $
608 N Lincoln Way, Galt - 9.33 miles

“River Rock is pretty easy to find with ample parking shared with other businesses in that lot. We were greeted nicely. My first impression was that it was a bit messy inside. Mix and matches of tables and chairs not in any order and refrigerators and assorted paraphernalia on the walls and against the walls...I get that things (furniture etc) cost a lot so not obsessed with the ambience as there looked to be plenty of seating for patrons. They had a pool table and foos ball table. All the beers we had were good and fairly priced. Bathrooms weren't highly clean. If we pass through town again, we'd probably stop for a quick cold one again. Looked like they sell beer making equipment too.“
